-The song carries on in with strong rock guitar, the words “PURE” finally spelled as the opening video for Ikusa starts, a collage of superstars on display in the package. Jesse Ramey stands tall, roaring to the crowd before switching suddenly to Jamar Wilson, rubbing his hands with that now common-place cocky smile to the camera…the video then switching to Enmity wrenching the Animosity back on a faceless competitor, the bipolar fiend holding that man’s life in his hands as the video then switches to the Black Dragons, putting some of their martial arts skills on display in mid kata. More wrestlers flash by as the heavy rock guitar kicks back in-

“CAUSE I’M LOSING MY SIGHT…”

-S2 being powerbombed through a pane of glass off the top of a ladder by Vito Wynn is shown, his body shattering the glass into hundreds of miniscule shards as those shards give way to a furious powerbomb followed by a cocky cover by “Sinister” Steven Lee-

“LOSING MY MIND…”

-Nu Era pull off an impressive top rope body splash/legdrop combo from opposite corners, the fans jumping to their feet on the maneuver as they sandwich their victim helplessly-

“WISH SOMEBODY WOULD TELL ME I’M FINE…”

-Radiant and Hwao Kwan are shown pummeling each other with chops furiously, the neither man giving ground in this vignette-

“LOSING MY SIGHT…”

-Raizo Tenzen flashes a heinous look to the camera, the camera close upon his dark, dagger-like eyes as they pierce the viewer….his eyes a mirror into his intense soul-

“LOSING MY MIND…”

-Isao Asai fixes his ties as Chu-Chu his Robo-Poochie hops up and down as it transitions to Jason Marah powerslamming a hapless victim transitioning to Hoshi Akagawa leaping off the top rope with a glorious crossbody. It then transitions to “The Universal Outlaw” Senji Yulav striking at the screen with a kendo stick then transitioning to Luis Sangre and Sister Ash standing back to back, both cutting eyes to each other-

“WISH SOMEBODY WOULD TELL ME I’M FINE…”

-Chase Hererra is in midst of a moonsault plancha to the floor, then transitioning to Mang-A-Hero and Inphino Blitz’s win of the PURE tag titles, each man on a turnbuckle as the crowd roars. The video then shows Peter Perez wrenching an armbar on a faceless opponent as the camera rotates about him, those rotations transitioning to Bad Company and The Sushi Crew racing towards each other in the spirit of battle-

”THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!!!!!!!!”

-Derge soars through the air, transferring to Kohana leaping off the turnbuckle with a guillotine leg drop…fading to Chiang Ho Nam diving off the top for a swanton….fading to Enmity with a corkscrew press….finally ending with Inphino Blitz slamming down upon an opponent after a glorious 450 splash-

PURE IKUSA

The cameras swing about the jam-packed Budokan Hall in Tokyo Japan as fireworks blast off at the staging, the fans erupting as lights hoot everywhere. Shortly, the lights illuminate to full as the cameras head straight to the ring, Hanza Kibagame already in the ring as he looks set to intro the first match

Hitomi: Ladies and gentlemen it is time to once again start another awesome night full of PURE events!

MAH: I could totally agree with you right now Hitomi! This is the first Ikusa since PURE’s first ever Pay-Per-View in Final Destinies and we’ve FINALLY got a Heavyweight Champion!

Hitomi: Yes we do and that man is none other than Jesse Ramey.

Mori: As much as I must say that the match put on by Jesse Ramey and Eddie Mandrake was totally awesome, I can’t say I’m glad to see the man as the champion.

Hitomi: Of course, I wouldn’t expect someone like YOU to like the fact that we have such a great champion.

Mori: I would have rather seen someone like Enmity or Steven Lee win the title.

Hitomi: Yes, you would have liked to have seen someone like that win the title, but then again, both of them were put out in their first matches.

Mori: True, but they were cheated.

Hitomi: (Shouting) How do you get that they were cheated?

Mori: Well, Enmity was cheated because he had to compete in a type of death match, I don’t know what it was and Steven Lee was cheated because the ref didn’t like him.

Hitomi: You’ve got to be kidding me!

Mori: Nope, it’s the truth. I heard it from a friend of a friend’s cousin who knows the guy that was the ref of the match.

Hitomi’s jaw drops as Hanza slowly begins to make his way into the middle of the ring.

Hanza: The following contest is set for one fall and there will be a thirty-minute time limit.

“Singular Indestructible Droid” by Papa Roach hits the house PA and the fans come to their feet and begin to cheer as Chase Herrera comes out from the backstage area at full speed, running down to the ring, rolling in under the top rope and beginning to bounce around yelling to the fans.

Hitomi: Herrera sure does know how to get a crowd working.

Mori: Bah.

“One Girl Army” by Five Iron Frenzy quickly replaces Papa Roach as Hoshi Akagawa emerges from the backstage area and the fans begin to boo very heavily. Hoshi comes walking down to the ring with a smirk on her face as she begins to yell obscenities at the crowd.

Hitomi: In traditional culture this crowd would be cheering for something like Hoshi who is from Japan, but my goodness, how can they?

Mori: Because she is like the greatest female wrestler ever!

Hoshi slides into the ring, still with a smirk on her face as she looks at Chase and begins to bad mouth him. Hanza brings the microphone to his mouth once more.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first in the red corner (points to Chase) hailing from Los Angeles, California, United States of America and weighing in at two hundred and ten pounds, he is CHASE HERRERA!

The crowd begins to chant for Chase as he raises his arms in the air.

Hanza: And now introducing, in the blue corner (pointing to Hoshi) hailing from Tokyo, Japan and weighing in at one hundred and eleven pounds, she is HOSHI AKAGAWA!

The fans begin to boo as Hoshi comes running across the ring as the bell sounds and dropkicks Chase back into the corner turnbuckle. Hoshi hops back to her feet quickly and jumps up onto the second rope of the turnbuckle and brings Chase over quickly with a monkey flip.

Mori: Hoshi getting this thing kicked up a notice really quickly.

Hitomi: She’s going to have to if she wants to continue on in this match.

Mori: What do you mean?

Hitomi: Look at the size difference; she’s going to have to do something if she wants to keep the advantage.

Hoshi hops back to her feet once more and bounces off into the ropes and comes back with another dropkick, only this one goes sliding into the head of Chase.

Crowd: Oww!

Hitomi: That move had to really hurt; Chase is holding the side of his face right now!

Hoshi comes back to her feet and begins grinning out at the crowd as she begins to stomp on the side of Chase’s head as he tries to cover himself up. Hoshi looks out at the crowd smiling as she brings her foot up and holds it over Chase’s head, she then brings it down and a shocked looks comes over her face!

Mori: No!

Hitomi: (Smirking) Now what’s she going to do? Chase has that stinking foot!

Chase looks up at Hoshi, as blood begins to cover his face and his white teeth shine through crimson mask. Chase takes the foot of Hoshi and sends her spinning to the mats in one awesome move; Chase kip-ups from the mat and begins to lay in some frequent boots on Hoshi’s mid-section.

Hitomi: Chase is definitely peeved.

Chase picks Hoshi up by her hair and then proceeds to lift her up in the air and brings her down with a hard brainbuster, which gets the crowd roaring.

Hitomi: What an awesome move!

Mori: Cheap!

Chase begins to look down on Hoshi and smiles brightly as he runs over to the ropes, bounces off, and comes running back through with a running leg drop that connects directly with the throat of Hoshi. Chase grabs a leg and quickly pulls Hoshi into a pin attempt. The ref drops to the ground.

Ref: Ichi…

Ni…

KICKOUT!

Hitomi: I thought Chase had that match won there.

Mori: Not me, that cheater will never win.

Chase brings Hoshi back to her feet once again by her hair and just as he does she begins to lay in some quick shots to his gut. She then begins to back off and bring in some solid kicks to the stomach before she grasps around his waists and brings him over with a bridge over suplex into a pin attempt.

Ref: Ichi…

Ni…

Sa…

KICKOUT!

Chase bridges up and clings onto Hoshi, as he brings her crashing down onto her head and makes the pin attempt.

Ref: Ichi…

Ni…

San…

Mori: NO!

Hanza: The winner of this match, CHASE HERRERA!

Chase jumps about the ring, excited about his victory as he seems to be on a “streak” as of late. He fixes his hair in the camera as he starts to exit the ring, but in the midst of him leaving, Yuka Hamada stands on stage looking down at Hoshi Akagawa in the ring. She’s wearing a knee length black skirt with strapping black high heels and black silk stocking with a part open red silk blouse.

Hitomi: What’s Yuka Hamada doing out here?

The fans watch as Yuka begins to clap her hands for Hoshi, the rest of the audience starting to join in for appreciation of the woman’s skill. Yuka winks at Hoshi before walking backstage again.

Hitomi: What was that all about?

Mori: I don’t know, but whenever she comes out it’s a good thing.

A Challenger’s Words-Jason Marah

We go to a room in the back of the building. The room is filled with reporters and at the top of the room we see Jason Marah and Patrick Craig sitting at a long table on an elevated platform. Marah takes a gulp out of the Lucozade bottle sitting in front of him as Craig stands up to organise the press conference.

Patrick Craig: First, I’d like to thank you all for coming. Jason will do his best to answer any question as long as they’re reasonable.

The hands of all those in attendance go up simultaneously. Craig points to a “porky” fellow in the front.

Reporter: Yoshihiro Imata, Highspots.com. Last week at Final Destinies, you lost for the second time straight to Cordozer “Suicidal” Stevenson. It’s hardly the best way to go into a World title match.

Jason Marah: It isn’t? Jay-sus, I think it’s a great way to go into a match. People are starting to think my early matches were flukey and Ramey probably underestimates me. I think it’s all good…I have to go out there, prove what I can do and show S2 that his win was nothing more than a bad night for me. Anyway, I wouldn’t count my “loss” to S2 on Ikusa a couple of weeks back a loss, he did cheat to win, remember?

Yoshiro smiles and nods. The hands go up again.

Patrick Craig: You, in the back with the red hair.

The camera scans back to a red haired woman in a dark grey suit.

Reporter #2: Hirotome Nakato, JAPAN: WRESTLING Press. There’s a draft tonight, a split in the PURE roster. One half of PURE will tour Japan, the other will tour the rest of the world. Where do you hope to go and where do you think you’ll go?

Jason Marah: It’s an intriguing event to say the least. Where do I think I’ll go? I don’t know, I seem to be well responded to here in Japan, but I’ve always got a good response to fans in the US, so that’s a stalemate. Jamar and Mina can bring me to whatever side they want really, but I’m sure as hell I’d do great anywhere. They could slap my arse down in the Antartic and I’d make them damn penguins slap their wings together. Where do I hope to go? Ordinarily, anywhere would do, but now this thing with S2…well, I just hope to go wherever his arse is going so I can kick it.

Hirotome Nakato: Do you think S2 will have any involvement in your World title shot tonight?

Jason Marah: I don’t know, I don’t think so, I don’t think he’d f--- with something this big, ya know? If he does, I’d just have to bring him crashing down to earth with the Rebellion, and then go ahead and do the same to Ramey…and bring that gold strap home.

Hirotome Nakato: We haven’t seen the Rebellion utilized by you in PURE…

Jason Marah: Don’t worry, once you do, you’ll never forget. –smiles- Next question please.

Craig picks out another reporter.

Reporter: John Slone, PUREaddict.net. Rumours are flying about S2 having a drug abuse problem, performance enhancing drugs. Do you know anything about this?

Jason Marah: Not a clue, my friend. S2 keeps his business to himself, and even if I did know, I wouldn’t come out here and tell you folk.

John Slone: There are also rumours that your new nighclub, situated in Sacramento, California, USA came way of Yakuza interactions?

Jason Marah: The Yakuza? The Japanese mafia? Me? What sort of f---head question is that man, ridiculous. To my knowledge, and my knowledge is usually the best, I’ve never had “interactions” with any class of mafia or vigilante group or whatever you want to call them. My nightclub ownership came way of perfectly legitimate, tabletop dealings. Stop with the slander.

Jason stands up and walks out of the room, disgusted and is followed by Patrick Craig as a PURE Representative takes over for them.

The Shaun Styles Security Crew-Shaun Styles

The scene opens up in a dark hallway only illuminated by the lightbulb hanging off by a thread from the ceiling. The walls are covered with breaking tiles and dripping water runs down and breaks on the rough floor. In entirety it appears to be the basement of the chosen arena. A number of security guards are lined up standing straight with their backs against the wall. Shaun Styles appears into the scene and is pacing back and forth nervously in front of the crew. He looks up at them and observes the group.

"You all know why you're here, right?" Shaun Styles asks calmly. To his response a powerful Japanese man steps up and replies.

"We haven't a clue."

"That's alright, Wang." Shaun says and follows up with a giggle thinking about his name breaking the serious mood. His face quickly changes into an icey look again as he walks up and down the line.

"As you all know today I, alongside the Sushi Crew, will be facing the Suburban Ninja Crew. It is unneeded to say that we are at a slight misadvantage. If I count correctly there are only four members between The Sushi Crew and I..." before Shaun can finish his speech he is interupted by the sound of one of the guards clearing their throat.

"Excuse me...Three members...Now that puts us against 40. I'm sure you all understand that even with all my skill and talent I cannot take on 40 men. That is why I have called you all here. The way I see it is if Sushi can have a crew and Suburban Ninjas can have a crew, why can't Shaun Styles?" The speech gets a lot of murmurs from his crowd of around 15 other security guards. They look on in confusion at each other before finally one of them steps up.

"What exactly are you getting at?" The burly gentleman says with a heavy Japanese accent.

"What am I getting at? Gentlemen and more gentlemen, allow me to be the first to induct you into the brand new...Shaun Styles Security Crew!" Shaun yells at the top of his lungs echoing throughout the hollow hall. The men all have mixed reactions on their face before starting to question what is going on.

"Do we get anything out of this? I mean surely a raise would be in order...A prize maybe. Like a car or something." One of the men say.

"Sure, you'll get something. Although it's not something you can spend...Or something you can drive...Or see even. All you can do is feel it." Shaun says putting all his emotion into the answer.

"I could've sworn I heard that exact same line in a movie, Mr. Styles." The same man says unaffected by the touching response.

"...Get out." Shaun Styles grumbles annoyed by the man's antics. The short japenese fellow walks down the hall with his head down and climbs up the stairs leaving.

"Anyone else?" Shaun asks the remaining men. They all salute and stand up straight looking forward once again.

"Good."

Not Another Suburban Ninja Press Conference-SNC

Another press conference hosted by the Suburban Ninja Clan. This time, the ninja making the announcements is #16. The Japanese Supremacist ninja, he got around quite a bit at the pay-per-view, approaching a number of PURE wrestlers. He is now making a statement on behalf of the SNC for their match tonight.

#16: Let me begin by thanking everyone for coming to the Clan's thrid press conference. We promise a press conference every week. There is much a group of 40 ninjas would have to say. This is our outlet for our words. I shall start this press conference with the question and answer session, then moving in to whatever I need to say, if it isn't already answered by the time I stop taking questions.

Mang-A-Hero stands up.

MAH: What sort of match would you prefer wrestling your opponents, the Trinity Tag Team Champions, in for tonight?

The ninja cocks his head to the side.

#16: That's an awfully stupid question. We were thinking something along the lines of a tag match, is that okay? What did you want us to say, a Thunder Tournament? An Arena of Illusions match? Pit of Despair match? Don't insult us. WE WRESTLE PURORESU. And that form of competition thrives on a normal match with rules. There is reliable report that the champions wanted this match to be a "Texas Tornado Hardcore Rules" match. I'm not even sure what that is, but it mentioned the state of Texas in the United States, and I can say with certainty that nothing good has come from the state of Texas. Now, if there are any intelligent questions?

Mang-A-Hero sinks into his seat. A young man in a black shirt and pants with a red tie and thick red-rimmed glasses raises his hand to be recognized. #16 nods in his direction.

"Dogole Sohoroke, PURE Press Office. What specific words have you for the current champions?"

#16: Other than that they won't be champions after tonight? Well, only this one thing. They should hope that all of them are drafted to the PURE World program. If not, the Clan shall make its personal goal to destroy them night after night until they resign from PURE in shame, broken and forgotten.

A young woman in a pink dress from PuroInformer stands up.

"Ayahu Shigekita, PuroInformer. May we know which ninjas are going into the match ahead of time?"

The ninja nods.

#16: We've decided to be sporting, and let Shaun Styles and the Sushi Crew know the deliverers of their fates ahead of time. We are sending three of our best ninja into this competition. The first is a man with some demons, but they are demons that he unleashes upon his opponents. He is rather small, but his ferocity in battle in unparalleled. I will merely say this on his behalf -- he is one ninja who goes for the throat. The second is slightly bigger than the average-sized Japanese man. He is not overly large, but is strong. The third is the largest ninja we are sending. He is powerful for his size. He attacks from the first bell to the last.

"Damon Smith, WrestleFan--"

#16: I shall not field questions from Westerners who need not be here.

Another woman with red pants and a blue T-shirt stands up.

"Bikame Ikunui, Official Puroresu Magazine. Is there anyone else who is in the Clan's sights?"

At this question, the ninja bursts into laughter.

"What is amusing you?"

#16: Hahahaha, hehe... hehehehe. Not just anyone, my dear. Not just the Clan. No... I can't speak for them. I can, however, speak for myself. And I am VERY focused. On whom? Let us just say this... whomever holds the PURE Heavyweight Title by the night's end will soon answer to me. And with that, this press conference shall adjourn. Good day.

JR.Weight Title Match-Radiant© vs. El Mesias

-We go to ringside, where we see El Mesias already inside. He tests the ropes a couple times, and jogs to the center of the ring, before crouching in a wrestling stance, awaiting Radiant, the Jr. Heavyweight Champ.-

Hitomi: As you can see, El Mesias is already in the ring for his Jr. Heavyweight Title shot. He’s one of our many newcomers this week, but the only one with a match!

MAH: And he would appear to be a LUCHADORE! LUCHA LIBRE!!!

Mori: Will you shut up…

-“Chasing the Dragon” by Dream Evil hits the speakers, and the Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Radiant comes down the aisle. The crowd is on their feet, applauding Radiant, who is now not wearing his mask to the ring. Radiant slides in the ring and raises his title high in the air to the roaring crowd.-

Mori: Ooooohhh he’s HIDEOUS!

Hitomi: Enough Mori. I think he’s kind of cute…

Mori: Yeah, in an ugly sort of way…

MAH: What a defense this man had at Final Destinies, defeating Isao Asai to hold on to the gold!

Hitomi: It’s a shame it had to end the way it did, with the unmasking and all… Here we go.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for the PURE Jr. Heavyweight title!!! Introducing first, in the red corner, the challenger… EL MESIAS!!!

-The crowd applauds politely.-

Hanza: And his opponent, in the blue corner… weighing in at 215 lbs… he is the PURE Junior Heavyweight Champion! HE IS RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNTTTTTTT!!!!!

-The crowd cheers.-

Mori: El Mesias… weighing in AT?! He’s that new is he? We haven’t even weighed him yet?

MAH: This one is fresh…

-The bell rings and Radiant gives the ref his title, which is taken away quickly, as we start off. Radiant goes right at Mesias, and goes for an irish whip. Mesias resists however, to the surprise of Radiant, who is likely expecting an easy win over this relatively unknown superstar. Radiant tugs on his arm once again, but Mesias kicks him in the midsection, bending Radiant over. Mesias rebounds off the ropes, and hits a running sunset slip in Radiant!-

ICHI!

NI!

Kickout!

-Radiant does a backwards somersault to get out of the pin, putting him at Mesias’s feet. He does a forward somersault now, putting Mesias in a pinning predicament!-

ICHI!

NI!

Kickout!

-Mesias bridges out of the hold, holding on to a waist lock, underneath Radiant. Mesias twists around, putting him on top of the hold, with Radiant in between his legs. He lifts Radiant up for a powerbomb, but Radiant hops off his shoulders, landing in front of Mesias on his feet. Radiant goes for a kick, but Mesias catches it. Radiant then connects with a swift enziguri, which drops Mesias to the canvas. Radiant is right on him grabbing Mesias’s chin, to lock on a camel clutch!-

Hitomi: Well, he’s caused Radiant a bit of grief thus far, but Radiant finally has the man grounded!

-Radiant pulls back a little extra, before breaking off the hold himself. He kicks Mesias once, and he then goes up to the top rope. He takes a little too much time however, as Mesias springs up, and hits Radiant with a top rope arm drag! Radiant is slower to his feet now, holding his back. He gets up, and Mesias immediately meets him with a dropkick, putting Radiant back down. He doesn’t stay down, however. He’s back up and Mesias whips him into the ropes. Radiant rebounds and Mesias hits him with a front dropkick to the gut. Mesias lands on his back, and Radiant is crouched over holding his stomach, so Mesias gives him another shot, kicking Radiant with both feet in the face! Radiant stumbles back into the ropes now. Mesias pops up and charges at Radiant, but Radiant ducks and backbody drops him over the top rope… but Mesias stays on the apron.-

Hitomi: Mesias is taking it to the champion!

MAH: And he’s not done yet! LOOK OUT!

-Radiant turns around, but it’s too late as Mesias nails him with a springboard spinning hurricanrana! Radiant is down now, and Mesias goes up top! The crowd cheers as he goes up as well, and comes down on Radiant with a moonsault! He stays on for the pin!-

ICHI!

NI!

SA- KICKOUT!!!

Mori: So close!

MAH: Mesias was THIS CLOSE to pulling off a huge upset!

-Mesias pulls Radiant up to his feet and he hits Radiant with a quick snap fisherman suplex!-

ICHI!

NI!

S- KICKOUT!!!

-Mesias pulls Radiant to his feet again and he goes behind him. He german suplexes him, and rolls backwards, bridging over top of Radiant!-

ICHI!

NI!

SA- KICKOUT!!!

-The crowd is gasping at every kickout, as Mesias can almost taste the title in his first PURE match. He jumps up and waits for Radiant to reach his feet. Radiant does so, slowly. Radiant turns to face Mesias, and he jumps on Radiant’s shoulders, but Radiant punches him in the head a few times, and Mesias loses his momentum. Radiant holds on as Mesias drops down… and RADIANT DROPS HIM ON HIS HEAD!!!-

MORI: GANSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hitomi: That’s a good way to even the match up!

-Both men are down now, with Radiant breathing heavily on his back, and Mesias kind of on his side recuperating. Radiant gets it together and he turns Mesias over and pins him.-

ICHI!

NI!

SA- KICKOUT!!!

-Mesias just gets a shoulder up, kicking himself out of a lazy pinning attempt, by no fault of Radiant’s of course. Radiant gets up, and lifts Mesias up to his feet. Rhys pushes him into the corner, and perches him up to the top rope. Radiant grabs his leg, and executes a dragon screw! Mesias holds his knee in agony, as Radiant goes in for the kill. Radiant picks up the same leg, the left leg, and locks it, and wrenches back, putting Mesias in a stand Achilles lock!-

Hitomi: This could do it! This is an incredibly painful submission hold!

MAH: And it’s tough to escape! If you try and flip over, Radiant can easily modify it into a half crab, or a normal ankle lock!

Mori: So how do you get out then?

MAH: Get the ropes, or get him off!

-Mesias is screaming through the nearly unbearable pain, and reaches for the ropes, but they are a good seven feet away. He uses his free foot and tries to kick Radiant, but he’s positioned himself out of harms way. Mesias then opts to hack away at Radiant’s side. It’s not enough to get him to break the hold however, and Mesias forgets about his attack for the moment, trying anyway he can to relieve some of the pressure on his ankle.-

MAH: He’s going to have to tap…

Hitomi: A valiant effort to say the least.

-Radiant pulls back even harder, and it looks as if Mesias is about to tap out… but he sits up and cradles Radiant!-

ICHI!

NI!

KICKOUT!

-Radiant is a little angry his submission hold was broken up, and he stomps Mesias down before he has a chance to get up. He lifts Mesias to his feet, and goes behind him. Hit launches Mesias with a release german suplex, but Mesias lands on his feet, where we can see the damage done on his ankle, as he stumbles on his landing. Radiant turns around and gets sidekicked right under the chin! Mesias then runs towards the ropes and hits an asai moonsault over top of Radiant!-

ICHI!

NI!

S- KICKOUT!

-Mesias lifts Radiant to his feet, and whips Radiant into the corner. He then runs at Radiant a bit more lethargically than before, and slides on his back, and hits a monkey flip on Radiant out of the corner, putting Radiant in the middle of the ring. Mesias goes up top as Radiant reaches his feet. Radiant faces Mesias who comes off the top with a cross body block, and connects, but Radiant rolls through it, putting himself on top of the pin!-

ICHI!

NI!

S-KICKOUT!

MAH: This match has gone so back and forth! No one really has the clear advantage!

-Both men get up to their feet, and Mesias punches Radiant, but also gets a shot in return. They trade shots for a while, until it seems Radiant’s getting the better of them in. Radiant keeps the assault going until Mesias is in the ropes. He whips Mesias to the opposites side, and Mesias rebounds. Radiant jumps over top of Mesias, and then falls to his back. Mesias rebounds again and Radiant goes for a monkey flip of his own, but Mesias grabs his leg. Mesias lifts Radiant up, and slams him down with a reverse spinebuster of sorts! Mesias hooks Radiant’s leg, and pins him!-

ICHI!

NI!

SA- KICKOUT!!!

Hitomi: NEAR FALL!

Mori: Radiant was caught off guard by that move! Nearly cost him the match AND his title!

-Mesias lifts Radiant to his feet and kicks him in the gut. He then whips Radiant, but Radiant reverses, and launches Mesias over the top rope! Mesias doesn’t get the apron this time however, and he flies right into the guard rail, hurting his ribs. The crowd cheers for Radiant, who is now resting on the ropes. He sees his opponent, leaned against the guard rail, and he goes to the turnbuckle nearest to Mesias. Radian’t climbs up to the top rope, and Mesias is on his feet, as is the crowd… Radiant dives at Mesias from the top rope, and he connects, but also gets a piece of the guard rail due to it begin so close. Mesias is sprawled across the ground now, and Radiant is slow to his feet. He gets up, and he forces Mesias to his feet. Radiant whips Mesias, but Mesias reverses, tossing Radiant head first into the ring post. Both men collapse as the crowd is going wild!-

Hitomi: My oh my did Radiant ever take off from the top rope!

Mori: But was it worth the risk?

-Mesias goes over to Radiant and gives him some shots to the head on the ground. He goes up on the apron, and Radiant reaches his feet. Mesias jumps up and hits Radiant with a springboard corkscrew moonsault! Radiant is down, but Mesias isn’t right back on his feet either. All of a sudden, the bell rings!-

Hanza: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has informed me that match is being stopped… due to a DOUBLE COUNT OUT! Therefore, this match is a draw!

-The crowd boos loudly at the match stoppage. The ref runs backstage as well as Radiant is given his title. Mesias is up and he helps Radiant to his feet, who is still on the ground, with the title over top of him. Radiant shakes Mesias’s hand before heading to the back.-

Hanza: Still Junior Heavyweight Champion… RADIANT!!!

-The crowd applauds him and Mesias.-

Hitomi: A great match, but it’s a shame it had to end so abruptly!

MAH: I love that high flying action displayed by these men!

Mori: A respectful ending too, but you have to think that it’s eating Mesias up inside! If he only stepped into the ring, rather than just going on the apron, he could’ve broken the count.

Hitomi: He’ll have other chances I’m sure. We’ll be back in a moment.

(-PURE IKUSA is brought to you by Def Jam Vendetta…the blacktiest black wrestling game EVER. I’m talking black crayon black yo-)
The Draft-Jamar Wilson

-The fans erupt into strong cheers as Jamar Wilson can now be seen smiling wide on PURE-Vision. He is sitting at a glass table with the “PURE” banner behind him as he sits tall and proud, clearing his throat as he addresses the mass Budokan Hall crowd-

Jamar: Ladies and gentlemen…as you know, PURE has decided to split its operations into two halves. The first will be PURE World run by myself….the second will be PURE Japan, run by Mina De Margo. Both sections of PURE will be dedicated to bringing you the finest in puroresu and sports entertainment, and we expect nothing but large things for our new venture. I would however, like to address a few topics…

Championships

Jamar: The championship titles are a very important aspect of PURE and we hold great pride in each and every one of them. With that in mind, we intend for PURE’s JR.Weight and Trinity Tag team titles to be up for grabs on EITHER tour of PURE, the champion or champions of either belt bookable by both sides. The World Champion, who at the time is Jesse Ramey…

-The fans cheer respectively and with full force at the mention of the PURE champion’s name. Jamar pauses for a few seconds to let the fans get it out of their systems as he continues-

Jamar: As I was saying, the World Champion will be the property of the side he is drafted to…HOWEVER, the #1 contendership for the title will interchange between sides….each side getting 6 chances to name a #1 contender. As for the All-Asia Championship, it’s fate will be decided in the upcoming match between Kohana and Raizo Tenzan, for I know the two have been drafted to separate brands. The winner brings the title to his new side. With that out the way….here are the PURE Japan draft picks…

Nu Era

Jamar: These shall be the new PURE rosters, each having the ability to make new signing’s independently at will. More information on PURE Japan’s new show details will be given later, PURE World keeping the flagship show, Ikusa. Today begins a new era in PURE….let the PURE-ification begin.

-The fans cheer wildly as PURE-Vision flickers off, the new rosters unveiled for the general consensus as the cameras go to ringside, as “How I could kill a man” is already playing, with Ninjas 20, 22, and 23 already in the ring. #22 and #23 are conversing with each other, as #20 tests the ropes, waiting for their opponents.-

Hitomi: Well, right now we have these members of the Suburban Ninja Clan taking on Shaun Styles and the Sushi Crew, a team that hasn’t competed in some time!

Mori: If you ask me, it’s disgraceful that OUR Trinity Tag champs have been so inactive as of late! Any longer, and I believe they would’ve been stripped of the title!

MAH: I don’t think it’s been that long, but yes, it has been a little while. And another disadvantage they face, is that Styles and the Crew, aren’t REALLY a team. AND, on top of THAT, you can’t train against the Clan! If you train for a martial artist, they can throw a sumo at you! You have to train against 40 different people.

Mori: So in other words, it’s impossible.

Hitomi: Very true. Then again, Styles and the Crew did upset The Black Dragons to win the titles. Nobody gave them a chance to win that match. Perhaps playing the underdog is how they play best?

Mori: The champions should not be the underdog. 90% of the time, they should be the favourite.

-“Come out Swinging” by Offspring hits the speakers, and the Sushi Crew enters, with Shaun Styles. The crowd gives them a warm ovation, as the Crew raises their arms, while Styles slaps some hands on the way to the ring. Styles slides in the ring, as the Sushi Crew climbs up into the ring. Hanza then enters to make the announcements.-

Hanza: This match is scheduled for ONE fall, and is for the PURE Trinity Tag Team Team Titles! Introducing first! In the red corner, at a combined weight of 632 lbs… Representing the SUBURBAN NINJA CLAN, Ninja’s 20, 22, and 23!

-The crowd boos as they raise their arms.-

Hanza: And their opponents… In the blue corner, at a combined weight of 572 lbs… They are the PURE Trinity Tag Team Champions, they are Shaun Styles and the SUSHI Crew!

-The crowd cheers as Ryu and Otoshi embrace, and Styles bounces on the ropes.-

Mori: That Styles character annoys me.

MAH: Why?

Mori: Just look at him! All… GAH!

Hitomi: He’s quite the athlete, though. Regardless of his appearance, you have to give him that much.

Mori: Yes he is a good athlete, but WHO ISN’T here in PURE? I mean, isn’t that some sort of requirement? If you’re not an impressive athlete, we’re not going to hire you, am I right?

MAH: You’re no so impressive yourself Mori. What sport do you specialize in?

Mori: …

-The bell rings, and Ryu starts off for his team, versus #23 from the Ninja Clan, the two biggest members of their respective teams. The two meet in the center of the ring, and they start with a grapple. #23 gets some leverage, and is able to push Ryu into a corner. Still holding on to the grapple, the ref intervenes, and has them break it up in the corner. #23 backs off, holding his hands in the air, and suddenly, he charges in, hitting Ryu with a hard clothesline, causing Ryu’s legs to fly up in the air. #23 begins unloading on Ryu with stiff right hands, before he gives him a hard irish whip to the opposite corner. Ryu goes in hard, chest first, and he falls down to the ground. #23 goes over to Ryu and picks him up, but Ryu springs up, and gives him an elbow to the head. He then hits a dropkick to send #23 down. #23 gets to his feet and Ryu body slams him back down, and drops a leg across his leg. He goes for the pin.-

Kickout!

Hitomi: Much too early to earn a pinfall.

MAH: Never hurts to try, though.

-Ryu drags #23 up to his feet, and then over to his team’s corner, where he tags in Otoshi. Otoshi jumps over the top rope, and punches #23 in the ribs, which Ryu opens up for him. Otoshi delivers a snapmare on #23, and then gives him a quick dropkick to the head. Otoshi picks #23 up, leads him towards the middle of the ring, and hits him with a bridging northern lights suplex.-

ICHI!

Kickout!

-Otoshi drags him by the foot back into his corner, and tags in Styles. Otoshi drops an elbow over top of #23 as Styles climbs up top. Otoshi goes to the apron, as Shaun comes down with a body splash.-

ICHI!

NI!

KICKOUT!

Hitomi: Already a few nearfalls on #23!

Mori: I don’t think any one pinfall attempt was THAT close, however.

-Styles gets up and tags Ryu right back in. Ryu picks #23 up to his feet, and knees him in the gut. He then whips him into the ropes, and goes for a back body drop on #23, but #23 kicks him in the face, and clotheslines Ryu down hard. Ryu gets up to his feet and #23 hip tosses Ryu a long way. #23 tags in #22. #22 comes in and immediately begins kicking at Ryu. Ryu makes his way to to his feet, while still being kicked at. Ryu gets up, but #22 quickly sends him back down with a neck breaker. He goes for a pin on Ryu, putting his feet on the ropes.-

ICHI!

NI!

-Otoshi comes in and breaks up the pinning attempt. The ref immediately gets in his face though, forcing him to go back. Meanwhile, #23 gets back in the ring, and he picks up Ryu. #22 gets up as well, as #23 presses Ryu in the air. #23 throws Ryu towards #22, who sidekicks Ryu on the way down. The crowd now gives a mixed reaction, many of them booing at the illegal double teaming, while some applaud the impressive double team move.-

Hitomi: What a hard kick by #22! While Ryu was on the way down too!

MAH: Here’s a pin!

ICHI!

NI!

S- Kickout!

-#22 tags #23 back in. #23 lifts Ryu to his feet, and whips him into the ropes. Ryu rebounds, and runs right into a fierce spinebuster! #23 says it’s over, and picks Ryu up, yet again. He goes behind Ryu, and sets him up in a pump handle position. He lifts him up, but Ryu slides down the back, flowing into a reverse roll up.!-

ICHI!

NI!

Kickout!

-#23 kicks out with force, and they both get up. Ryu runs at #23 but falls victim to a powerslam! #23 goes over and tags #20 in. #20 goes up top, and comes down on Ryu with a Somersault Leg Drop!-

Mori: STEAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLTH EEEEEEEEEEELIMINAAAAAAAAAAAATION!

ICHI!

NI!

SA-

-Otoshi is in for the save one more time! #22 and #23 comes out though, and start attacking Otoshi, which brings in Shaun Styles! Styles clotheslines #22 over the top, and he follows him out. #23 is pounding on Otoshi in the corner. #20 lifts Ryu to his feet, but Ryu kicks him in the gut. Ryu hits him down with a spinning wheel kick, ad #20 gets back up. Ryu runs off the ropes and he nails #20 with a flying forearm. #20 is back up again, and Ryu is in his face with shots, back him into his own corner.-

MAH: GO RYU!

Hitomi: The ref has lost order in this match!

Mori: Well it’s hard to keep order when Otoshi wont stay out of the ring!

MAH: But that ninja had his feet on the ropes!

Mori: What about the second time?

MAH: I don’t know…

-On the outside, Styles is seen getting thrown into the ring post. Inside, #23 charges at Otoshi, but he ducks and back body drops #23 over the ropes. He follows him to the outside. Ryu lifts #20 up to the top turnbuckle, and Ryu goes up as well. However, #20 shoves him down to the canvas hard, and Ryu is slow to his feet. #20 stands up on the top rope, and Ryu is on his feet. #20 comes down with an axe handle smash, but Ryu dropkicks him on the way down! Ryu doesn’t capitalize, however, and both men are down. #20 is recovering rather quickly, however, and is getting up using the ropes. On the outside, #22 charges at Styles, but he dodges, and tosses #22 over the guard rail. Ryu is crawling in the ring, and Styles sees this, so he goes back to his corner.-

Hitomi: Here comes Styles! Ryu needs to tag him in!

Mori: #20’s all over him though!

-#20 is up and he grabs Ryu in a wasitlock. He pushes Ryu into the ropes, and goes for a rollup, but Ryu holds on to the ropes. #20 then charges at Ryu, but Ryu flapjacks him, with #20 landing on the ropes, and whipping back down to the ground. Ryu then dives forward and tags Shaun Styles in!-

Hitomi: There’s the tag!

-Ryu slides to the outside to take care of #22, as Otoshi is still going at it with #23, trading shots. Styles comes in fired up, and he clotheslines #20 down to the mat. #20 is back up again, and he is taken down again by Styles. Shaun lifts him to his feet and he gives #20 an Atomic Drop, followed by a spear! He pins him!-

ICHI!

NI!

KICKOUT!

-Styles gets up, as does #20. #20 eye rakes Styles and goes behind him to apply a sleeper. Styles backs him into a corner, however, and the hold is broken. Both men come out of the corner, and Styles runs to the opposite corner, jumps up to the middle rope, and hits a corkscrew moonsault on #20. #20 is once again slowly getting to his feet, as Shaun Styles smiles, with the crowd strongly behind him. Styles kicks #20 in the gut, and places #20’s head between his legs.-

MAH: PUT HIM AWAY STYLES!

Mori: Not a chance! You can’t keep this guy down!

Hitomi: Looks like he’s going for a powerbomb…

-Styles goes for a double powerbomb, in fact, or “Dusty Roads” as he calls it. He gets #20 up and powerbombs him to the mat once as the crowd cheers. He goes for a second, but Styles kind of slumps to the mat.-

MAH: What the hell?! What’s going on?

Mori: What happened there?

Hitomi: Oh no…

-The crowd gasps as they realize what’s going on, as we see #20 has a scissor lock right across Styles throat. Styles struggles, trying to loosen the grip, but it’s locked too tight. It takes little time for Styles to stop struggling, and the ref immediatly calls for the bell!-

DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING!!!

-#20 releases the hold, and “How I could kill a man” plays over the speakers. #20 is handed one of the belts, and the others fighting on the outside stop to realize what’s going on. #20 is handed his other 2 belts, and he goes to the outside. The Sushi Crew goes inside to check on Styles, who is showing some signs of life by moving around. #20 hands his other 2 belts to #22 and #23.-

Mori: YES! YES! YES!!!

Hitomi: What a vicious choke hold applied by #20!

MAH: I’m glad that Styles is all right!

Hitomi: Well, we have new Trinty Champions, in the form of the Suburban Ninja Clan!

Mori: And what a sweet day it is!

Hitomi: WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!

A New Signing-Mina De Margo

Mina is shown walking down the hallway, wearing a black tank top and black and red plaid hip huggers. She stops for a second, listening to a sound coming from inside a dressing room. She walks in, and finds a large Japanese man with blonde hair playing an acoustic guitar, wearing ragged blue jeans and a white tank top. Sitting in the room with him is a Japanese woman with brown and white hair, wearing a white halter top and white jeans, and a black haired man with braids hanging out from under his blue baseball cap, the team name matching the blue jersey he wore, which matched his jeans.

Mina: Hey! Been looking for you three!

They all look up, a smile coming on their faces.

Blonde Man: Mina, good to see ya again.

Mina: Rampage, Cell, Kyoshiro…allow me to be the first person to tell you that the Boogiepop Dynasty are exclusively members of PURE: Japan.

The woman gives a thumbs up to her partners.

Woman: PURE: Japan…excellent.

Braided Man: Right on, Cell.

The raspy voiced man named Kyoshiro grinned as he slapped hands with Cell. Rampage nodded slowly, strumming his guitar lightly.

Rampage: Swell…we stick in Japan; we get to promote our music better; we get to wrestle puro style for one of our best friends…everyone’s happy.

Kyo: How’s the big Blitz man going anyways?

Mina: I don’t know. I’m about to go sit down and watch the broadcast of Crowning Glory after I take care of some business. Taping it too, just in case I miss his match.

Cell: Good vibes to him, Mina. Hope he comes out on top.

Mina: You and me both. Welcome to PURE, and welcome to the PURE: Japan tour.

Mina walks out, leaving the three members of Boogiepop Dynasty looking at each other. Rampage nods his head again, starting to play his guitar slowly again. Cell hums harmonically to the sound while Rampage just bobs his head.

All-Asia Championship-Raizo Tenzan vs. Kohana©

Hitomi: Here’s yet another in tonight’s series of title matches!! Kohana fresh out of Final Destinies is putting his All Asia championship belt on the line against the Saikyo Senshi Raizo Tenzan!

Mori: These two are both hot stuff, but of course it will be the Saikyo Senshi to take this win AND this belt!!

Hitomi: Why do you think that?

Mori: Raizo Tenzan has been undefeated thus far in PURE! There’s no way Kohana can win!

MAH: He’s only had like two matches hasn’t he?

Hitomi: And one of them was cooked up in the formation of the Saikyo System, right?

Mori: UNDEFEATED!!

Hitomi: Anyways, Hanza Kibagame is ready to announce in the ring! Let’s take it to him so we can get this bout underway!

Hanza clears his throat and begins, looking out at the fans.

Hanza: Kore wa sanjyuupun ipponshobu zen ASIA senshuken jiai desu!

“Wake Up” by Rage Against the Machine plays, and the fans cheer on the Sioux Nation Sensation as he walks out from backstage.

Hanza: KOHANA senshu ryuu joo desu!!

He slides into the ring and holds his newly acclaimed belt in the air, another pop coming out from the fans.

Hitomi: Kohana looks great with that belt taken away from Senji Yulav!

Mori: Meh, the belt really doesn’t have any credibility at this point to me.

Hitomi: Kohana is a very charismatic and skilled wrestler, and you say the belt has no credibility?

Mori: I do indeed.

The fans’ cheers drop as the lights lower, “Deep Impact (DJ Krush Mix) by Dragon Ash booming onto the speakers. Raizo Tenzan walks out from backstage, standing on the stage with his arms lowered at his sides. Behind him walks out the three masked people in all black.

Hitomi: Those are the Unknown Soldiers! Raizo brought them in at Final Destinies to replace the Black Dragons in the Saikyo System!

Mori: And let’s not forget who else he brought in!

Hitomi: That’s right. He also brought back in former PURE star Yuka Hamada!!

Mori: What greatness this man knows…

Hanza: Tenzan Raizo senshu ryuu joo desu!!

Raizo taps his fist against his chest twice before holding his fist up in the air. Then with the Unknown Soldiers following, he makes his way down to the ring. All four members of the Saikyo System climb into the ring, the group standing in one corner staring across the ring at Kohana. The music fades, and Raizo and Kohana step into the center of the ring. Kohana hands Taki Kuonji the All Asia title, and as he holds up the belt Raizo and Kohana shake hands. They look out to the clapping fans, photographers snapping shots all over the arena.

Hitomi: Glad to know that Raizo keeps traditional about the beginning of the match, if he doesn’t stay that way during the match.

Mori: Raizo is the new era of Puroresu, I have you know! He IS the future of this business!

Hitomi: So you say.

Both parties back into their corners again as Hanza begins to announce.

Hanza: First, the challenger, from Fukuoka, Japan. Weighing in at 257 pounds, he is the leader of the Saikyo System…TENZAAAAAN RAIIIIIZOOOOO!!

Raizo climbs up onto his corner and taps his chest before raising his arms into the air. The fans boo on, a few clapping respectably. He comes back from the corner and stares over at Kohana, his hands closing and opening in anticipation.

Hanza: And his opponent, from Chankoowashtay, North Dakota. Weighing in at 250 pounds…he is the PURE All Asia champion…KOOOHAAANAAAA!!!

Kohana holds his arms up and nods, the fans cheering and clapping for the champ. Taki moves in quickly, checking over both men’s gear and motioning for everything to be clear. He steps back into the middle of the ring and waves them in. Raizo motions for the Unknown Soldiers to leave the ring as he walks into the middle.

Hitomi: You gotta wonder if those Unknown Soldiers will play any part in this match.

Mori: Why? Raizo’s capable of dealing with Kohana himself.

Taki offers the two wrestlers a chance to shake hands again. Raizo holds out his hand, where Kohana takes it and shakes again. The fans cheer them on, but when Kohana turns to back up, Raizo holds on. Kohana looks back to see Raizo smiling at him slyly, saying a few words as he motions across his waist.

Hitomi: Raizo’s taunting Kohana, saying he’s walking out with the belt around his waist.

Kohana shakes his head as he snatches his hand away. The bell rings, and the two of them begin to circle around the ring; their eyes on each other steadily ready to strike.

Mori: And this fight is underway. Two technicians ready to take the battle to each other…though I think Raizo will take this win home. As I said earlier.

Hitomi: Thank you for that unbiased statement.

The two lock up in the center of the ring, each man trying to get over on the other. Raizo come over Kohana with a headlock, wrenching his arm around his head. Kohana tries to shoot him off, but Raizo drops to the mat with a headlock takedown. Then he rolls on top of his back and locks in a full nelson camel clutch. Kohana growls against the strain of the submission hold as Taki checks on him nearby. Kohana tries to get up, but Raizo leans back, applying more weight to the smaller back and pulling harder on Kohana.

Hitomi: That’s an innovative camel clutch he locked onto Kohana.

Mori: Like I said, future of puroresu. It’s innovative moves like that submission hold and the Shi-ne that will lead a new generation of wrestlers into the PURE Hall of Legends…unlike Inphino Blitz.

Raizo lets the hold loose and stands up, laying in a few boots into the back of Kohana as he lies on the mat.

Hitomi: That’s the style Raizo is known for. Straight ruthless street brawling.

He pulls Kohana back up and whips him into the ropes. Kohana ducks the lariat, and comes back with a swinging neckbreaker on Raizo! Raizo’s head pops off the mat, but Kohana pushes him back down for the cover.

ICHI!!

NI!

KICKOUT!!!

Mori: More is needed to take down the likes of Tenzan!!

Kohana picks up Raizo and drops him across his knee with a backbreaker. Then he steadies himself, holding the leader of the Saikyo System across his knee, pressing his upper torso and bending him over his knee. Raizo’s arm flails to break free, and after a minute of the submission Raizo swings up and socks Kohana right in the jaw! The hold breaks, and Raizo lands on his rear as Kohana steps back, rubbing his jaw before coming back and booting Raizo in the spine! Then Kohana kneels down, putting his knee into Raizo’s back and grabs both arms to pull back on.

Hitomi: Kohana is really going at it with Raizo in the submissions.

After a few moments of the submission Raizo begins to stand, the knee of Kohana no longer embedded in his back. He tries to twist out of it, but Kohana holds on to his arms. Seeing no other alternative, Raizo jumps back and rams his head into Kohana’s face!! The Sioux falls back into the ropes holding his face. Raizo stumbles forward on his feet and turns around to rolling lariat Kohana over the top rope!

MAH: Things are picking up! Raizo may take a leap!

Raizo waits for Kohana to get up before he runs up the turnbuckle, and dive off feet first with a diving lariat right across the chest!! Both men crash into the ground as the fans clap for the daring move by Raizo.

Hitomi: You won’t see Raizo Tenzan high flying much! But for him that was a great move!

The Unknown Soldiers get up from their chairs near the ramp and walk towards the area where Raizo and Kohana lie.

Hitomi: Now look. Seems like we may have some trouble on the outside with the Unknown Soldiers!

Mori: That female soldier looks kinda hot in her outfit.

Taki slides out of the ring and motions for the Unknown Soldiers to get back. The female soldier stops, but the two male soldiers past by Taki and help Raizo to his feet. Taki watches carefully for any dirty tricks, but all they do is help Raizo up. Raizo waves them away, and they walk back to their seats obediently.

Mori: See? Nothing underhanded at all!

Hitomi: Maybe…but that doesn’t mean they’re good. They’re bad by association.

Raizo grabs Kohana and rolls him into the ring. He comes back in and catches Kohana with a bulldog as he rises, pulling him back up and uppercutting him with his free arm. Then he drops down and hooks the leg for the pin.

ICHI!!

NI!!

KICKOUT BY KOHANA!!!

Hitomi: Kohana will not give up the fight for his belt like that! He just won it!

Raizo brings Kohana to his feet and whips him into the corner. As soon as Kohana hits the turnbuckle Raizo spears into his midsection, driving his shoulder into his ribs over and over. He stands up straight and begins to smack him across his chin with hard right hands. A sudden roundhouse kick sends Kohana around face first in the corner. Raizo turns back around and grabs him by his waist, setting him up on the turnbuckle.

MAH: Another high impact move coming up from the man they call the Strongest Soldier.

With Kohana on top, Raizo comes in from behind, locking in that full nelson camel clutch again. He climbs all the way to the top rope with Kohana and snaps over with a suplex maneuver with the clutch still on!!

Hitomi: WOAAAAH!!

Suddenly Kohana flips over and drives Raizo’s head into the mat with a reverse double underhook DDT!!

Mori: What?? How’d he do that??

Hitomi: Raizo’s gone to the top rope once too many and paid for it! Now Kohana will capitolize!!

Kohana drapes his arm over Raizo Tenzan for the pin.

ICHI!!

NI!!

SA—NOOO!!!!

Taki: TWOOO!! NIII!!! BREAKK!!

Hitomi: Kohana almost had him with that move!!

Kohana stands back up and drops an elbow on Raizo before he can get back up. Then he climbs up the corner and comes off with a guillotine leg drop!! Raizo’s body snaps up as Kohana goes for another pin.

ICHI!!

NI!!

KICKOUT!!!

Kohana rolls off and quickly grabs Raizo’s legs, locking in a figure four on the Saikyo Senshi!

Hitomi: 4 no jigatame! Figure four!

Raizo yells out in pain of the leg lock, Kohana keeping it locked tightly trying to wear him down. Taki watches closely as Raizo slaps both hands into the mat, but doesn’t tap out. He grits his teeth, trying to turn Kohana over and reverse the lock. Kohana plants his palms into the mat and shakes his head, holding his ground and blocking Raizo’s reversal. Raizo swears out in Japanese before reaching over and grabbing a handful of Kohana’s hair!!

Hitomi: Is this what you’ve resorted to Raizo?

Taki tries to break him away, but Raizo hammers a headbutt into Kohana’s face. He puts in two more headbutts before Kohana breaks the hold, his hands going to his face as he backs away. Raizo stands up, checking the status of his legs before turning around towards Kohana. Raizo pulls Kohana up by his hair, getting another scolding from Taki Kuonji. Kohana suddenly swats Raizo’s hands away and wraps his arms around his torso, throwing him over with a belly to belly suplex!!

Hitomi: Belly to belly!!

Kohana grabs Raizo off the mat and locks his arms again, another belly to belly snapping over! Raizo looks dizzy as he slides across the mat. Kohana grabs him again and goes for a third, but Raizo pops his hips and turns the tides!

Mori: Yeah!

He goes for a belly to belly himself, but Kohana pops his hips and reverse!!

Hitomi: Reverse!!

Raizo reverses again, but Kohana counters with another reversal!! The fans are cheering as Kohana is countered again by Raizo!

MAH: It’s like they’re dancing!!

Raizo suddenly explodes with an overhead belly to belly suplex, heaving Kohana into the corner and leaving him upside down in the turnbuckle!!

Hitomi: Wow! That was a powerful throw by Raizo there!!

The applause of appreciation begins to die down as Raizo stands up and growls. Kohana shakes his head in the corner from his upside down position, seeing a distorted view of Raizo coming in and stomping away at his stomach. Then he rams his shoulder into his midsection, wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling him up face down on his shoulders. He steps back from the corner, holding Kohana for display a second before dropping down to his knees with an inverted rib breaker across his shoulder!!

Mori: Break that Native American in half!!

Raizo stands back up and drops back down with another rib breaker drop. Kohana yells out in pain at the impact made. Raizo stands up once more and drops down, shifting Kohana’s weight back and shocking him with a kneeling stunner!!

Hitomi: Innovation!!

Mori: That’s the name of the game Raizo plays!!

He kneels there for a moment; taking in boos from the fans and responding with a double tap of his fist to his chest. Then he rolls over and hooks the leg for the pin.

ICHI!!

NI!!

SA—NOOO!! KICKOUT!!!

Mori: How is Kohana still kicking out??

Hitomi: Fighting spirit! Maybe Kohana has what it takes to be on the puro tour!

Raizo stands back up and stalks Kohana, motioning for him to get up. Just then…a white haired figure comes rushing out from the crowd!!

Hitomi: Who’s this??

The man jumps onto the apron and gets Raizo’s attention. Raizo turns around and glares at the man, cursing at him. Taki looks back to see the Unknown Soldiers jump onto the apron to come to their leader’s aid. He rushes over to them and holds them back, Raizo left growling at the other man in Japanese.

Mori: That guy’s gonna cost Raizo the prize!!

Just then Kohana grabs Raizo from behind and nails him with the SLEEPER SLAM!! Raizo’s bald head pops into the mat as Kohana walks over to the mysterious white haired man and yells for him to leave. The man nods, holding his hand out for a handshake. Kohana looks down at it, and suddenly a blue flash of light bursts from the man’s hand!!!

MAH: WHOA!!

Kohana stumbles back blinded, his hands rubbing his eyes vigorously as the Unknown Soldiers jump down from the apron and dash around the ring, pulling the white haired man from the apron and carrying him struggling away from the ring. Raizo rolls over to his feet and crouches, waiting for Kohana to turn around so he can heft him up and nail him with the SHI-NE!!!!

Mori: SHIIIIII-NNNEEEEE!!!!

Raizo yells “SHI-NE!!” in Kohana’s unconscious face before dropping down for the pin. Taki turns from the action outside with the Unknown Soldiers to the pin on the inside.

Hitomi: No!! This is unfair! That man interrupted the match when he tried to get to Raizo!!

ICHI!!

NI!!

SAN!!!

The bell rings as Raizo stands up, going over and climbing up the corner. The fans boo as he taps his chest and raises his arms to the sky in victory.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, in 10 minutes and 39 seconds via pinfall…and NEW PURE ALL ASIA CHAMPION….TENZANNN RAIIIZOOOO!!!

The white haired man breaks free from the Unknown Soldiers and dashes back into the ring. Taki holds the belt to present to Raizo, but the man snatches it from the head referee!

Hitomi: Looks like this man isn’t finished with Raizo!

The fans watch as Raizo steps out of the corner and turns around, staring eye to eye with the white haired man. There’s tension brewing between the two of them; Raizo points down to the belt in the man’s hand and points to himself, saying that belongs to him. The man looks down at the belt for a second…before bowing to Raizo Tenzan!!

Hitomi: KORE WA NAN DESU KA??

Mori: This is the genius of Raizo Tenzan that is what this is!!

The fans begin to boo as Raizo takes the belt presented from the white haired man and raises his arms in the air. The Unknown Soldiers slide into the ring and join Raizo Tenzan and the new man, putting the boots into Kohana on the mat. The Unknown Soldiers pull Kohana up at Raizo’s order, the two males grabbing the Native American as the female soldier runs up his back and springs off his shoulders, the two male soldiers lifting Kohana off the mat as the female comes back down with a double arm bulldog!! The ring shakes from impact as Raizo and the man fold their arms, nodding in satisfaction!

Mori: OH MY!! THE SOLDIERS JUST DEMOLISHED THE SIOUX NATION SENSATION WITH THAT TRIPLE TEAM MOVE!!

“Deep Impact (DJ Krush Mix)” by Dragon Ash plays as the Unknown Soldiers, the mysterious white haired man, and Raizo Tenzan with belt in hand raise their arms to the sky.

Hitomi: This is a travesty! Kohana got cheated out of the All Asia title and the Saikyo System’s just grown stronger!

MAH: Who is that stranger??

Mori: You’ll find out soon enough!

Hitomi: We have to take a commercial, but we’ll be right back to see what’s the story!!

(-PURE IKUSA IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY….PURE Final Destinies, the Encore presentation…find out what all the hype was about-)

Stolen From His Grasp-Raizo Tenzan & the Saikyko System

Raizo Tenzan comes walking from the ring backstage with the All Asia title over his shoulder. Following closely is the Unknown Soldiers as well as the mysterious white haired man. Yuri Takayama comes rushing up to them with a microphone in hand, a few photographers following behind her.

Yuri: Raizo, congrats on winning the All Asia championship from Kohana right after he won it at Final Destinies!

Raizo: Yeah, I’m just glad to get the belt on a countryman, instead of some gaijin. All Asia on a gaijin…that’s almost as bad as a gaijin world champion in this promotion.

Yuri: So you object to Jesse Ramey as the PURE World Champion?

Raizo: He may have some skills, but there should have been a Japanese in that match to represent. It was nothing but three Americans and a Chinese. Wilson didn’t even give us a chance to represent.

Yuri: You have a point. By the way, who’s this person with you that everyone wants to know about?

Raizo looks to his white haired ally and grins.

Raizo: This man is the newest member of the Saikyo System. I’m sure you may have heard of him from your work in PCW…namae wa ITAGAKI FREEZE DESU.

Yuri: Itagaki Freeze? I’ve heard of you.

Just then Yuka Hamada comes walking up to the group.

Yuka: Car’s waiting, Rai.

Raizo: Gotta run. Got some business to take care of with my new associates here. Ja mata.

Just as Saikyo System step out into the parking lot, Kohana comes rushing out from the arena.

Kohana: RAIZO!!! Where are you!?

Yuri: Kohana? Are you okay?

Kohana: Where’s Tenzan??

Yuri: He just went into the parking lot.

Kohana runs past her and bursts outside. He stops, seeing a limo drive away towards the street. He stomps his foot and lets out a frustrated growl. Suddenly the limo stops, and Raizo pokes his head out of the sun roof.

Raizo: Hey, baka! You want you’re belt back??

Kohana starts to come after it, but Raizo drops it back into the limo.

Raizo: Too bad, kid! As of this moment, the PURE All Asia title, along with the entire Saikyo System…are exclusive property of PURE: JAPAN!!

He taps the hood of the car as Kohana races towards him.

Raizo: IKUZE!! LET’S GO!

Kohana stops as the limo peels around the corner, departing the arena. He lets out another yell, his hands grabbing his head as he stands there in anger.

PURE World Title Match-Jason Marah vs. Jesse Ramey©

Hitomi: This has definitely been a night of spectacles for PURE.

Mori: It’s been an okay night.

Hitomi: It’s going to get better though, as the Main Event is next!

Mori: Am I supposed to be interested in this match at all?

MAH: (Scowling) You sure as heck should!

Hitomi: Woo hoo! Way to go Mang! (Slapping Mang a five)

Mori: Well, maybe this will be a pretty good match.

Hitomi: You’re dang right it will be a good match, we’re pitting the top talent in PURE, Jesse Ramey, against one of our up and coming stars who has Heavyweight Champion material wrote all over him, Jason Marah.

Mori: I just really don’t know, I could have actually seen Suicidal Stevenson putting on a better match with Ramey here tonight.

Hitomi: Yeah, but Marah won the Battle Royal, not Stevenson. Thusly proving that he was at least a little better for this fight tonight.

Mori: Stevenson won at the Pay-Per-View though.

Hitomi: True, but I guess we’re just going to have to wait and see what happens tonight during this match.

Mori: I agree, cause anything could happen with those two wild cards, Stevenson and Lee, being in the back and knowing they would jump at the drop of a hat to run out here and cost either of these men the match.

Hitomi: Well, if you really think about it, if Stevenson was to come out then I’m sure he’d try to cost Ramey the match so that he would have a better chance at getting a shot with Marah as the champion.

Mori: That’s true, but if I know Steven Lee he wouldn’t let that happen, he interfere on Ramey’s behalf before he’d let him lose that title to anyone other than himself.

Hitomi: Good analysis. I never thought about it that way.

Mori: Of course you didn’t, it takes someone of my stature to do that.

Hitomi: (Laughing) And what stature would that be? Round?

The lights in the arena go dim as “Nothing Else Matters” off the S&M Album by Metallica hits the house PA and the fans come to their feet as a pumped Jason Marah makes his way from the backstage area, walking moderately to the ring.

Hitomi: Marah is definitely pumped for this match.

Mori: Oh yeah, he’s ready to come out here and try to take that belt away from Ramey.

Hitomi: I hear that!

Marah continues his walk to the ring, slapping hands on his way, until he finally slides under the bottom rope and makes his way over to his corner. “Nothing Else Matters” is shortly replaced by “Meant To Live” by Switchfoot, and an even bigger, more resounding crowd response than when Marah made his way out. The crowd continues to stand on their feet as several rounds of fireworks begin to shoot off from the ramp into the arena.

Hitomi: They’re definitely going all out for this one.

After the fireworks settle down, from the backstage area comes running an unmasked Jesse Ramey, packing his PURE Heavyweight Title high in the air like a flag. He begins to pump the title into the air, getting the crowd behind him even more. He runs down the ramp quickly and slides under the ring, looking directly at the crowd and jumps onto the ropes holding his title high once again. Marah begins to clap for Ramey as well, which surprises a lot of people.

Mori: Well, this is definitely going to be a good one considering the amount of respect shown from both sides of the ring here.

Ramey hops down from the ropes and makes his way over to his corner, as he signals for Hanza to get the thing started.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing first in the red corner, hailing from Baltinglass, Co.Wicklow, Ireland and weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds, he is The Irish Warrior, JASON MARAH!

The fans stand and begin to cheer for Marah as he raises his arms.

Hanza: And now introducing, in the blue corner, hailing from Mito, Japan and weighing in at two hundred and five pounds, he is the current PURE Heavyweight Champion, JESSE RAMEY!

The ref makes his way to the center of the ring as Hanza leaves with the PURE Heavyweight Title in his hands, he offers an open spot for both men to enter and shake, the two proceed with caution, until they finally shake.

Hitomi: Definite display of respect.

The bell rings. Ramey tests the ropes near by a couple times, and circles around the ring, as does Marah. Marah goes for a grapple on Ramey, but Jesse ducks and goes behind Marah applying a waist lock. Ramey pushes Marah into the ropes, who rebounds hitting Ramey with a shoulder block, knocking him to the canvas. Marah runs off the ropes again, rebounds, and hops over Marah who’s on his stomach now. Marah rebounds again and Ramey is on his feet. Jesse tries to jump over Marah but he’s caught. Marah now has Ramey up like a potato sack, and he rams him into the nearest corner. He continues to drive his shoulders into Jesse’s midsection a few more times.

Hitomi: Marah is so powerful!

MAH: It may not be the flashiest move either, but that’ll knock the wind right out of your opponent.

Marah lets Ramey out of the corner, and he pushes Jesse against the ropes. He then whips him to the opposite ropes. Jesse rebounds and Marah goes for a boot to the face, but Ramey slides underneath him. Marah turns around and receives a dropkick from Ramey, which backs Jason into the ropes. Jesse comes charging at him, and hits a cross body block, sending both men over the top rope! Marah and Ramey are both a little slow to their feet, but Jesse gets up first. He grabs Marah and smacks his head on the apron. He grabs Marah’s head again, but Jesse gets a knee to the gut, doubling him up. Jason then throws Ramey back into the ring, and Marah slides in after him. Jesse is back on his feet and as Marah goes after him, Ramey ducks and hits a fireman’s carry on him. Ramey then applies a reverse chin lock on Marah, from the seated position.

Mori: You wont be able to keep Jason Marah down like that! He’s too big, strong, and it’s too early to keep him down with a hold like that!

Hitomi: You’re right Mori. Marah has a few inches on Jesse Ramey, AND more than fifty lbs!

MAH: He’s making his way up now!

Sure enough, Marah gets to his knees, and then on to his feet shortly after. Ramey is still clenching on to a headlock, but Marah lifts him up, and falls backwards delivering a falling back suplex! Marah goes over to Ramey’s legs now, and goes for a submission. It looks like he’s going for a sharpshooter, but Ramey pulls Marah’s legs out from under him, and now Marah is down on the ground, with Ramey at his feet. Ramey grabs his legs and drags him over to a corner. He then slingshots Marah into the turnbuckle, Marah bounces out of the corner and Jesse takes him down with a bicycle kick! He goes for a pin!

ICHI!

NI!

Kickout!

Marah kicks out with forces, pressing Ramey off him. This doesn’t intimidate Ramey however, and he’s right back on him, dropping a knee to Marah’s chest.

MAH: A strong kickout by Marah!

Hitomi: Not affecting Ramey, though. Looks like he’s going up top!

Ramey is up top now, facing the crowd, who is cheering more than usual now. Marah reaches his feet as well, and appears to be in a bit of a daze. Ramey flies at him with a moonsault, but he’s caught by Marah, who then delivers a Fire Thunder Driver!!!

Mori: FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THUNDEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Marah quickly goes for a pin on Ramey.

ICHI…

NI…

SA…

KICKOUT!!!

The crowd gasps at the close near fall.

Hitomi: Marah simply PLANTED Jesse Ramey with that Fire Thunder Driver! That is a HUGE move this early in the match! A move that no doubt will have lasting effects on the rest of the match!

MAH: Ramey’s going to have a nice little headache tonight… I’ve seen people lose matches earlier than this, to lesser moves than that. You have to admire Ramey right there. You know he doesn’t want to lose his title on his first defense.

Mori: Well if something like that happens again, he WILL lose it in his first defense!

Marah slaps his hands together at the ref, hoping for a faster count. He lifts Marah to his feet, and hooks Ramey up for a Fisherman Suplex. He lifts Jesse up for it, but then drops him forward, making Ramey’s back go over Marah’s knee. Ramey is on the ground now, holding on to his lower back, screaming in pain!

Hitomi: Marah calls that move “Exile the Vile”! Punishing maneuver.

MAH: I’ll say!

Marah pins Ramey again.

ICHI…

NI…

S…

Kickout!

Marah lifts him to his feet once more, but Ramey small packages Marah, to the surprise of everyone!

ICHI…

NI…

Kickout!

Both men pop up, but Marah is up a step quicker, and he tosses Ramey across the ring with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex!

Mori: WHOA! A fantastic suplex by Marah!

Hitomi: I almost wonder if Ramey would have been better off, had he not cradled Jason Marah like that…

Ramey feels the effects of that suplex on his back as well, as he holds it again. Marah goes over to him and stomps him down a couple of times. Marah sits Ramey up now, and applies a surfboard stretch on Ramey, wrenching his arms back. Ramey screams out in pain, while the ref asks him for a submission.

MAH: This is another well-targeted submission hold. The main focus is the arms, but look at Marah pushing his knee into Ramey’s back!

Mori: This might do it! He’s received some punishment to his lower back already!

Hitomi: Ramey is one tough individual though. I wouldn’t expect it. Never know though.

The fans start to clap, getting behind Ramey. Jesse manages to get on one knee, relieving some pressure off his back. He then gets one foot up, and then the other! Now Marah is only holding on to his arms behind Ramey’s back. Ramey leads Marah to the ropes and Jesse jumps to the second rope, and back flips over Marah, and now, Ramey has Marah’s arms behind his back! Ramey, still holding his arms, hits a front dropkick to Jason’s back, causing Marah to fall face first into the bottom turnbuckle! Marah slowly gets up and we can see his lip is bleeding now. Ramey charges in and hits a body avalanche on Marah, to the crowd’s approval! Marah stumbles out of the corner, and Ramey goes up to the top rope! Marah faces him, and Ramey comes off and hits a spinning Hurricanrana!

MAH: Critical Condition!

Hitomi: Ramey is on a roll here!

Marah is right in the center of the ring, and Ramey goes out to the apron. He raises his arm in the air, and he jumps in the air, and lands a nice springboard leg drop! He pins Marah!

ICHI…

NI…

S…

KICKOUT!

Ramey goes up top again and Marah is on his knees now, holding his throat. Ramey waits for Marah to reach his feet and face him. As Marah turns to him, Ramey comes off with a flying cross body block. But that proves to be a mistake as Marah drives him down with a thunderous powerslam!

ICHI…

NI…

Kickout!

Mori: Close call there for Ramey!

MAH: And what a hard powerslam!

Hitomi: Ramey went to the top rope one time too many right there! He’s already been hurt one other time coming off the top, receiving a Fire Thunder Driver…

Mori: He took his successes for granted!

MAH: Maybe so, but he’ll be back up there soon enough!

Marah now is the one going up top! The big man in on top, with Ramey in the center of the ring, as the crowd gets up to see what Marah’s going to do… Marah dives off the top rope with a Senton Bomb, but Ramey moves out of the way at the last second!

Hitomi: Both men are down now, what is going to happen?

In a sudden boast of energy Jason Marah jumps back to his feet, the crowd goes into a frenzy.

Mori: What a display of stamina!

Marah begins to lift Ramey up, but is kicked to the gut with a swift kick, spins Marah around and lifts him up into a Reverse DDT and brings him crashing down into a Face Crusher!

Hitomi: CULTURE SHOCK! CULTURE SHOCK! CULTURE SHOCK!

Both men lay motionless on the ground until Jesse rolls one single arm over Marah’s chest and the ref drops down for the count. The crowd stands to their feet in anticipation.

Ref: Ichi…

Crowd: Ichi…

Ref: Ni…

Crowd: Ni…

Ref: San!!!!

The crowd begins to cheer very loudly as the ref signals for the bell and Hanza tosses the Heavyweight Title into the ring.

Hanza: Your winner of this match and STILL PURE Heavyweight Champion, JESSE RAMEY!

Hitomi: Awesome match!

Mori: I don’t think it can get any better than this, honestly.

The ref helps Jesse to his feet as he hands him the title and raises his hand, but Jesse shrugs off and looks out at a confused crowd as Jason Marah comes to his feet with a sad look on his face. Jesse walks over to Marah and brings out a hand, while holding his side and the title.

MAH: Marah doesn’t know what to do.

A confused Marah extends a hand and shakes Jesse’s as the two embrace in a hug, then Jesse proceeds to raise Marah’s hand in victory as well. The crowd goes insane at this sight. Marah rolls out of the ring as Jesse continues to celebrate in the middle of the ring, but the cameras continue to run.

Hitomi: I don’t know what we’re going to do now guys, we’ve still got some time on our hands.

Jesse rolls out of the ring as the fans continue to roar, and he makes his exit to “Meant To Live”.

Hitomi: WELL FOLKS, WE’VE SEEN AN AWESOME WORLD TITLE MATCH….THE DIVISION OF PURE’S VERY ROSTER….AND THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA! Please join us next week for Ikusa, and be on the lookout for PURE Japan’s new show to challenge our flagship show…I’m Hitomi Asami for Mang-A and Mori…SEE YOU!!
