From The Desk Of Hitomi Asami....
"Hello PURE fans, as always it's a pleasure when you keep up with the happenings of our federation and your patronism is welcome. This week, Gekito came from the Mitsurgi Recreational Center in Ahkibara, Japan, also known as the gaming capital of the world. The crowd was at a good sized amount, an estimated 450 people which is an all time high for any of the Okata Recreational Center events. In attendence for autograpg signings were the Fight Club, The End, and of all people..."Mr.Entertainment" himself, Jamar Wilson and his lovely assitant, Melina Gotabody. The fans enjoyed themselves as all kinds of Oriental indy talent lit up the ring, with our main event being The Faithful Youth versus The Deacon, both young stars in PURE looking to recieve the big shot on Ikusa. The match let no one down as it was a classic mix of "David vs. Goliath" with Youth being the power specialist, wheras Deacon stuck to his high flying and high impact spots. Lets go to the action as we gear up for Ikusa 2, which promises to be a barn-burning event headlined by Inphino/Ali vs. The End/Jung Loc. See you there and enjoy!"-Hitomi Asami
*The feed starts up with both competitiors in the ring, the ring announcer with mic in hand as a small, yet rabid crowd of fans roars loudly for the main event of Gekito. In one corner stands a 7'0, over 300 pound man with his arms crossed and his muscles weapons to be feared as he stares across from a much smaller man, stretching out on the ropes as the ring announcer announces them both*
Ring Announcer: IN THE RED CORNER....WEIGHING IN AT 400 POUNDS....THE FAITHFUUUUUL YOUUUUUTH!!!
*The fans boo the awesome physical structure that is Faithful Youth as he simply stands and soaks up the boos of the crowd, the camera cutting to the outside where we find Mori Mishagi and Kobentai Kobiyashi, looking into the camera as Kiyashi greets the crowd at home*
Kiyashi: Welcome PURE fans....it is I Kobentai Kiyashi...
Mori: And his plump big man partner Mori Mishagi!
Kiyashi: We're about to get into this match between newcomer, The Faithful Youth, and PURE juniorweight, Deacon. This should be an exciting match to say the least...
Mori: But it will fail to eclipse when you and I show up to Ikusa 2 and take back our rightful announcing spots!! I've been eating twice as much more so I could stay in shape...
Kiyashi: Round obviously...
Ring Announcer: AND IN THE BLUE CORNER....WEIGHING IN AT 207 POUNDS....DEACOOOOOOOON!!
*The fans cheer the lightheavyweight heartily as he points out to the crowd, the bell shortly ringing and the ring announcer makes his hasty exit to the outside. The match begins, Deacon trying to size up the Youth as he realizes he lacks the size to lock up with him toe-to-toe. Youth slowly stalks towards Deacon, who steps about quickly to keep the space between him as the first move is yet to be executedby either man. Finally, the two men lock up, The Youth just easily shoving Deacon down to the mat with little effort as Deacon is down on the mat, looking up to The Faithful Youth as he gestures for Deacon to come at him again*
Mori: It's gonna be a long match for Deacon
Kiyashi: Not if the Youth gets his hand on him....I'm sure he'd prefer to end it VERY quick
*Deacon rises up again, locking up with Youth again as the situation repeats itself, a hard shove to the mat by the hands of the Youth as Deacon slams his fist against the mat, Youth looking slightly amused by Deacon's attempts. This time, Deacon rises up and gestures for Youth to come at him. Youth goes for the lock up, but Deacon slips under and NAILS Youth in the back of the leg with a stiff sidekick, following with another sidekick to the his broad back as the lightning fast strikes sound off in the gym, the fans cheering loudly as The Faithful Youth looks extremely pissed by the stinging kicks by Deacon, rising up angrily*
Kiyashi: Crisp kicks by Deacon, but he may pay for it later..
Mori: Speaking of crisp, sound like a good time for some Extra Crispy chicken...they have any KFC's here?
Kiyashi: The match Mori?
*The Faithful Youth throws an angry punch towards Deacon, the swift Jr.weight ducking and following with a straight kick to the Youth's chest and following with a flurry of loud chops, the fans chanting along*
Fans: WOOO!!! WOOO!! WOOO!!
*Deacon, building up steam, bounces off the ropes and returns with a flying forearm, slightly staggering The Faithful Youth as he loses a few steps. Deacon bounces off the ropes again and follows with a spinning leg clothesline, The Youth falling back into the ropes before Deacon follows with a high dropkick, sending the seven-foot Youth over the rope and landing on his feet, his head hazy as he staggers about on the floor*
Mori: Deacon's got some fire to him, he may just knock down the giant yet
Kiyashi: You can NEVER say never in puro
*Deacon points out to the fans, bracing the very top rope as he lines up The Faithful Youth on the floor. Open lining him up, Deacon springs up on the top rope and leaps off with a plancha to the floor....BUT, he is caught easily by the goliath known as the Faithful Youth in a fallaway slam position as he looks towards the steel post. The fans yell angrily for the Faithful Youth to stop, but with a loud yell, he rushes in full speed towards the post and RAMS Deacon's back into the steel. He then follows with an angry body slam to the matting as he climbs back up the apron and steps over the ropes to the inside, Deacon writhing in pain on the floor as the fans cheer for him to get back up*
Kiyashi: WHOA, Youth took it to Deacon there with the post...
Mori: See, it's good to be big.
Kiyashi: Big as in muscular...not big as in "Fat Albert"
*Deacon fights back up, sliding in the ring while still holding his back after that post ram. Once inside, Faithful Youth wastes no time, pounding on him with stiff shots to the back and shoving him into the corner. He then barrages the young Deacon with elbow smash after smash until the young Jr.weight is sitting limply in the corner, trying to catch breath after his vicious beating. The Youth gives him no time to recover however, mashing his boot into the face of Deacon and pushing down hard as the ref makes the choke count, Youth releasing on 4. Grabbing Deacon by his hair, the Faithful Youth throws Deacon's arm over his shoulder and gets a good grip on his tights, hoisting him up with all his power and holding him in the air effortlessly with a suplex, the fans in awe of the Youth's strength as he just holds him there.*
Kiyashi: Impressive strength display by the Faithful Youth
Mori: But what goes up....
Kiyashi: MUST COME DOWN!!
*And down it does come as The Youth sends Deacon plummeting down with a Jackhammer as the ring rumbles after the high impact move. The Faithful Youth places his elbow across Deacon's face and covers him lossely, the ref counting*
Kiyashi: 1...2..NO!!
Mori: Deacon has got some fight in him, but I doubt that was the smart decision...
*Youth questions the count, throwing up three fingers to the ref as the ref responds with two fingers. During the turmoil, Deacon rises up to one knee and as the Youth stalks over for another move, Deacon fires back with right hands to his chest, the fans solidly behind him as he begins to stand taller and taller with each punch which slightly slows the Faithful Youth. With all his might, Deacon throws a high kick which strikes the shoulder of the Youth and he then runs towards the ropes, bouncing off the second rope and leaping off with a missile dropkick which pelts Youth in the chest, sending him staggering*
Kiyashi: DEACON MAKING A COMEBACK!!
*The fans cheer harder, Deacon running towards a turnbuckle and climbing it slowly, getting his wind back as he leaps off with another missile dropkick, which sends The Faithful Youth crashing to the mat as the fans go crazy*
Mori: He could do it, he's got the Youth down, now's his chance!
Kiyasi: He has GOT to capitalize!
*Deacon points out to the fans, who respond with cheers of approval as he heads for the nearest turnbuckle, mounting it slowly as he has his back turned to a now rising Faithful Youth. He looks back, waiting for the monster to get to his feet and once he reaches them, Deacon flips off with a spectacualr moonsault, gliding through the air with stunning grace. But his move backfires unexpectedly, the Faithful Youth catching Deacon in mid-moonsault and setting him up in a Tombstone piledriver position. The fans boo angrily, but those boos don't change Faithful Youth's actions as he DRIVES Deacon's head into the mat with a tombstone, lazily covering him as the ref counts*
Kiyashi: 1...2....3!!!
*The bell rings and "Prayer" by Disturbed overtakes the sound system, the Faithful Youth mounting a turnbuckle slowly and raising his mammoth arms in the air as the fans return with boos to the destructive force*
Kiyashi: Deacon with a valiant effort, but a swift crush by the Faithful Youth ends all that!
Mori: Well...with that, we look forward to Ikusa 2 where we expect harsh actions to take place between Jamar Wilson and Sean Williams, as well as the res of the PURE superstars! Thank you all, and good night and after Ikusa...
Kiyashi: Expect us BACK where we belong on Ikusa and look forward to seeing Byron and Mat here NEXT WEEK!
*With that, the "PURE 2002" graphic appears and the scene fades to black, the road to Ikusa 2 underway*
