The screen goes black for a moment before turning Aubergine... yes that’s right... Aubergine. Suddenly in white the words “Expect the Unexpected” flash three times and “Come with me” by Puff Daddy begins to play over the system as one by one every single roster member of PURE is highlighted... Masanobu Akazi... Shirata Rinjiro... Steven Windsor... Brian Simon... Carl Kimbell... The End... Ebola III... Billy Larkin... Cege Heyabusa... Kensuke Suzahara... Naekura Toryama... Takumi Umeshita... Inphino Blitz... Hiro Saotome... Ali... Charlie Loc... Alexander Miyagawa and finally suddenly a man wearing a Godzilla costume appears and as the Godzilla roars at the end of the song and man springs from just outside the camera view and hits the Godzilla with a massive DDT to the floor... The HIT.

The camera pans around the inside of the Matsumoto Stadium, in Nagano here in Japan as the crowd go crazy...well crazy for a Japanese stadium in any case. Several fans are holding up signs slurring derogative comments directed at Ali and others are eagerly awaiting the arrival of PURE first female competitor by holding up various magazines she has already appeared in... so those are blurred out then.

Kobentai: Welcome to Ikusa Two hosted here in Nagano, one of my favourite cities in all of Japan. We should have an honourable night for all you viewers out there tonight.

Hitomi: Agreed we have an exciting card including the crowning of the first ever PURE Champion, that being the Junior Heavyweight category with The End facing the HIT facing Kensuke Suzahara.

Mori: But the important thing is what will PURE Owner, Alexander Miyagawa has to say about the possibility of his arch nemesis Kensuke Suzahara running away with his first title.

Hitomi: But first off on this great, great card we have an excellent tag team match coming up with Cege Hayabusa and Hiro Saotome versus PURE’s debuting tag team, Team Okiki! We take it to Hanza Kibagame for the announcements!

The camera shifts from the announce table to Hanza Kibagame, standing inside the ring. He waves to the fans before beginning.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen, this tag team match is scheduled for one fall, and is a part of the PURE Tag Team Title Tournament!! I am the announcer Hanza Kibagame, and the official for this match is PURE Head Referee Taki Kuonji!

Taki acknowledges the fans with a wave as “It’s Going Down” by the X-Ecutioners hits the speakers. The fans all cheer as Cege Hayabusa comes walking down towards the stage. He slides into the ring and lifts his hands at the fans.

Kiyashi: Cege seems ready for this match. I wonder if his partner is.

Mori: We’ll see soon.

“Before Dishonor” by Hatebreed plays. Hiro Saotome runs down to the ring and slides in, nodding at Cege and shaking out his limbs.

Hitomi: Hiro Saotome took a loss at the hands of Inphino Blitz on his debut PURE match two weeks ago on Ikusa. Let’s see if tonight he can pull off his first win here!

“Across the Nation” by Union Underground starts playing as the lights dim out. In the ring, a dragon outline appears as the turnbuckles explode with pyros. The lights flicker back on as Taka and Sakato Nazaki. Taka looks ahead focused as Sakato hops around wildly. As Taki climbs into the ring, Sakato slides in and climbs the turnbuckle to show off. Taki keeps his eyes on Cege and Hiro as the music fades away.

Kiyashi: An impressive entrance for the debut of PURE’s first tag team unit.

Both teams back into their corners as Hanza announces them.

Hanza: First, to my left, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Weighing in at 200 pounds, he is The Cynic...CEGE HAYABUSA!!!!

Cege pumps his fist into the air as Hanza moves on.

Hanza :And his partner, hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Weighing in at 235 pounds...HIRO SAOTOME!!!

Hiro raise their hands as the audience cheers them on. Then Hanza stretches his hand towards Team Okiki to continue.

Hanza: And to my right, hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Weighing in at 185 pounds...SAKATO NAZAKI!!!!

Sakato climbs the turnbuckle and holds his arms up at the crowd.

Hanza: And his partner, also hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Weighing in at 225 pounds...TAKA NAZAKI!!! Together, they are...TEAM OKIKIIIIII!!!!

Taki raises his arms and bows his head to the people. As the crowd claps for them, referee Taki goes to each man, checking their wrists, elbows pads, kneepads, and boots for any foreign objects. After looking over each man, he gives the signal for the bell.

Hitomi: And this match is officially under way! First we have Hiro and Taka starting things off!

Kiyashi: Both men begin with a handshake, a traditional and honorable way to begin any bout.

After the respectful applause, Taka and Hiro circle around the ring. They lock up, and Hiro forces Taka into the ropes. Taki calls for the break, and Hiro respectfully backs away, his hands up to show honesty. The fans applaud as they circle up in the ring again.

Hitomi: Wrestlers here in PURE show excellent respect for our head official Taki Kuonji

Mori: That’s because Taki is a former wrestler himself. They respect him not only as a referee, but as a colleague.

The two lock up again, this time Taka pushing Hiro into the ropes. Taki calls for the break, and Taka backs off, but not before getting in a quick chop across Hiro’s chest. They circle up once more, and as they lock up, Taka quickly ducks underneath and snatches Hiro’s leg from under him. Then he locks on a standing leg lock onto Saotome, wrenching away at the leg. Hiro suddenly reverses, and wrings at Taka’s ankle a bit before letting go and locking in a side headlock on the mat.

Kiyashi: Excellent technical work from both men here.

Taka stands up with the side headlock locked on and pushes Hiro into the ropes, whipping him across the ring. Hiro comes back and knocks Taka down with a shoulder block. Then he bounces off the other set of ropes and jumps over Taka. He stops and turns around to find Taka crouching on his knees. Taka springs up and nails a dropkick into Hiro’s chest, sending him to the mat. Taka stomps into Hiro’s back before picking him up and pulling him towards his corner, where he tags in Sakato.

Hitomi: Here’s the first tag of the match by Team Okiki. Taka and Sakato look to be ready for this match in their debut.

Sakato flips Hiro over with a snapmare and locks in a sleeper as he sits on the ground. He fights against the sleeper, reaching up and tugging at Sakato’s hair, only to be admonished by referee Taki. Then Sakato pulls him back and locks in a leg sleeper hold on Hiro Saotome. Hiro manages to roll Sakato over, and he counters by locking in an inverted Indian deathlock. He pulls Sakato’s head back by his hair, once again drawing the scolding from Taki Kuonji. Hiro then releases Sakato, allowing him to get to his knees before kicking him in the back.

Hitomi: Hiro Saotome looks like he doesn’t want another loss after last Ikusa.

Mori: It would be in his best interest not to take another loss.

Hiro kicks at Sakato as he stands back up, but Sakato grabs his leg. He hammers into Hiro’s knee a few times. Hiro tries to counter with a few right hands at Sakato. He goes for a fourth, but suddenly Sakato drops his leg, grabs his arm, and takes him down with a reverse armbar!! Hiro immediately inches for the ropes as the audience claps on. Hiro crawls out of the ring holding his arm as the crowd applauds Sakato. Cege comes into the ring, and he and Sakato begin circling instantly.

Kiyashi: The reverse armbar is a devastating move in wrestling. It’s not utilized as much over in the states, but here in Japan it has a reputation as a very dangerous maneuver.

Cege kicks Sakato in the stomach before whipping him into the ropes. Then as he comes back, Cege swings at him with a lariat, but Sakato rolls underneath him and rolls him up in a pin.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Before the three count, Cege kicks out, but Sakato immediately locks in a side leg lock onto Hayabusa! Cege howls out in pain as he spins around and reverses, locking Sakato into a side leg lock. Taka sees Sakato in trouble, and comes out of the ring to assist. He kicks Cege, breaking the hold and allowing Sakato to roll out of the ring. Then he picks up Cege and locks in a rolling leg lock onto him. Hiro then comes across the ring, breaking up the submission hold and locking in a side leg lock as well! Sakato comes out of the corner and kicks Hiro in his back. Then he too locks in a side leg lock into his opponent! Then Cege comes from his corner and kicks at Sakato, grabbing his leg, flipping him over and locking in a STF. Taka comes out of his corner and kicks Cege in his head, causing him to stand to his feet and break the hold. Then Taka front dropkicks Cege, sending him stumbling out of the ring.

Mori: What action!! All four competitors countered each other well!

Taka goes to hop out of the ring, but he leaps onto the top rope and back flips back into the ring. The fans applaud as Cege walks off the attack. Taki counts on Cege, reaching the four count before Hiro climbed into the ring. It looks as if Taka and Hiro are about to lock up, but Taka dropkicks Hiro in his knee. With him on the ground, Taka rolls him over, and Sakato assists in the double knee smash on Hiro Saotome.

Kiyashi: A nice move from Team Okiki with the double knee smash. I’m sure that move will take its toll in the future of this match.

Taka climbs out of the ring, and Sakato locks in a figure four leglock on Hiro. He releases the hold after a while and drags him towards his corner, where he tags in his brother. Taka comes into the ring and locks in another side leg lock.

Taki: Give up??? Give up???

Hiro doesn’t reply as he fights against the pain of the lock. With all the strength he has, he pulls himself over to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope. Taka breaks the hold, but pulls him away from the ropes a bit and drops the elbow into his knee. Then he tags in Sakato, who picks up Hiro and whips him into the ropes. He locks in an abdominal stretch on Hiro and turns him around towards his corner, where Taka runs at him and dropkicks him in his forehead. Team Okiki say a few words to Cege in the corner as Taka returns to the corner.

Hitomi: Team Okiki are showing some aggression here in this match. They are showing excellent teamwork between each other with the frequent tags and the double team maneuvers.

Sakato whips Hiro into the ropes, but he reverses. Sakato comes bouncing back, and Hiro slams him into the mat with a spinebuster. Then he rolls him over onto his stomach, allowing Cege to mount him and lock in a back mounted chinlock. Hiro backs up and nails Sakato between the eyes with a snapping low kick, causing a slap to sound through the arena. Cege gets back up to see Taka running for him. He boots him in his stomach and snapmares him over onto the mat. Then both he and Hiro deliver dual dropkicks to both sides of his head.

Mori: Looks like Cege and Hiro are looking to do some double teaming of their own!

Hiro and Cege pick up Team Okiki and push them into opposite corners before whipping them towards each other. The brothers collide in the center of the ring, Sakato falling to the ground while Taka staggering on his feet. Cege puts him down next to his brother with an armbreaker DDT.

Hitomi: Tough Break from Cege Hayabusa! The tables may be turning for this new tag team!

Sakato rolls out of the ring as Cege whips Taka into the ropes. He flips him over with an arm drag, and follows with a short arms scissor hold. Taka yells in pain as Taki asks him about giving up. When he doesn’t respond, Taki begins counting for Cege to release the hold.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THREE...

Cege releases the short arm scissors, but then locks on an armbar! Taka yells out and immediately scurries for the ropes. Sakato comes in to save his brother, attempting to lock in a crucifix armbar. Hiro cuts him off though with a kick to his back. Hiro stomps away at him before picking him up and nailing him with a high angle northern lights brainbuser.

Mori: Itai Gakka on Sakato Nazaki!

Kiyashi: It most certainly is a painful lesson, my colleagues.

Hiro steps out onto the apron before leaping over the top rope and dropping the leg across Sakato’s throat. He rolls over and makes the cover.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Sakato kicks out before the three. The audience claps as Hiro tags in Cege. Hayabusa lifts up Sakato and hits him with Going Down, a reverse powerbomb. He kneels down next to him and goes for the pin.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Sakato kicks out again, drawing more applause from the fans.

Hitomi: Sakato will not give up so easily!

Hiro and Cege whip Sakato into the ropes, following with a double forearm to the Nazaki brother. Cege steps out of the ring as Hiro stomps on Sakato again. Then he picks him up and drops him back with a high angle back drop. He goes for the cover, but Taka comes out of the ring and breaks it quickly. Taki sends Taka back to his corner as Hiro tags in Cege. Hayabusa holds up Sakato as Hiro goes to work on him with a left jab, a right hook, a right thrust, a kick to his knee, a right throat jab and a finishing double arm DDT.

Hitomi: Hiro calls that combination the Rising Sun! Things are looking down for Team Okiki!

Hiro grabs Sakato and hits a northern lights suplex on him, hooking for the pin.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Taka comes across the ring with a boot to the head of Hiro Saotome. Hiro quickly tags in Cege, who lifts Sakato up in a stalling suplex while Taki sends Taka back to his corner. He slams Sakato into the mat just as Hiro flies off the top rope with a swan dive.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Sakato suddenly kicks out! The fans are clapping for the will of this wrestler.

Mori: After all that Sakato is still kicking out??

Hiro powerbombs Sakato and goes for another pin. Taka breaks the count at two before walking back to his corner. Sakato stands up dazed as Cege watches him from behind. As he turns around, he springs off the top rope and DDTs him, following with a triangle hold! Before Sakato can tap, Taka dives across the ring with an axe handle smash to Cege Hayabusa!

Kiyashi: These brothers are fighters. They wont let each other down.

Cege knocks Taka off the apron before tagging in Hiro. Hiro kicks away at Sakato as he stands back up. Then he slips behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist. Sakato suddenly reverses, and slips behind him. As Hiro kicks back at Sakato, the Nazaki brother grabs his leg and sends him to the mat, locking in an ankle lock!!

Mori: Ankle lock on Hiro! Who saw that one coming!!

Hiro crawls for the ropes as quickly as he can. Taking the opportunity, Sakato tags in Taka. He climbs into the ring and kicks at Hiro’s back. Then he whips Hiro into the corner, grabbing his head in his arm and running up the turnbuckle. Sakato runs up the same turnbuckle and back flips before spearing Hiro to the ground! Taki lands over his brother on his feet. Cege runs into the ring and spears Taka into the mat as well, making all four men lying in the ring!

Hitomi: What impact from these two teams! They truly want those PURE tag team titles!

Team Okiki begin standing back up first. They both watch as Hiro stands back to his feet. He turns around and is knocked clear over the top rope by a double missile dropkick from Taka and Sakato! Sakato goes out to follow Hiro as Cege grabs Taka and tries to suplex him. Taka rolls over and tries to German suplex him. Cege reverses, but Taka elbows him in his face and runs for the ropes. When he comes back, Cege powerslams him to the mat and makes the cover.

Taki: ONE...TWO...

Taka kicks out before three and stands back up. Cege is up as well, and he whips him into the ropes. Taka comes back and ducks under the lariat, bouncing off the other set of ropes and dropkicking Cege. He falls through the ropes out of the ring. Taka takes advantage and runs for the ropes, springing over and nailing a splash right into Cege!

Mori: Taka took himself out with Cege!!

Hitomi: Could this be the comeback that Team Okiki needs?

Hiro and Sakato climb into the ring and go straight for each other. Hiro kicks Sakato in his chest before grabbing him around his waist from behind. Sakato counters with a kick back into the knee of Hiro, releasing the hold. Then he bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Hiro in his left knee, sending him reeling into the mat.

Kiyashi: Like I said before, those knee attacks from earlier are coming back to haunt Hiro Saotome in this match.

Mori: The pain’s taking its toll.

With Hiro down, Sakato goes and locks in a side knee lock. Hiro yells out as he flails his arms on the mat. Taki Kuonji kneels next to him asking if he wishes to submit, but Hiro ignores him and rolls over to the ropes. Sakato legs the hold go and allows Hiro to stand back up. Then he grabs him from behind and hits him with a hard back drop, making the cover following.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Hiro breaks free, drawing an applause from the fans. Sakato picks Saotome up and plants him into the mat with a Fisherman Buster. He makes the cover again.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Hiro kicks out yet again!

Hitomi: Saotome is no where near ready to submit to defeat here!

Sakato picks up Hiro to suplex him, but Hiro rolls over his shoulders. When Sakato turns around, Hiro kicks him in his stomach and scoops him up for a tombstone piledriver. He drives his head into the mat and steps over him to climb the turnbuckle. With his back turned, he flips back and nails a moonsault onto Sakato Nazaki!

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Taka suddenly rolls into the ring and breaks the pin!!

Mori: So close! Hiro and Cege were almost advancing in this tournament!

Taka grabs Hiro from behind and nails a German suplex pin.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Hiro digs deep down and breaks out of the pin! Taka cuts across his throat to signal the finish as he sets Hiro up for a DDT.

Hitomi: We could see the Call of the Dragon here!

Just then, Cege runs in and kicks Taka in his face. Taka drops Hiro and falls to the mat next to him. Cege picks Taka up and whips him into the ropes, where Hiro hits him with a roundhouse punch to his midsection. Then Cege scoops him up and hits his signature cradle piledriver! He rolls over and makes the cover.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Taka suddenly kicks out, getting the shoulder up! Hiro grabs Taka and hits him with the FALL FROM HONOR!! He hooks the leg on the cradle brainbuster for the pin.

Hitomi: Fall from Honor! This is the finish for Team Okiki!!!

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---!!!

Sakato suddenly leaps into the ring and breaks the pin with a axe handle smash on Hiro!!

Kiyashi: Near second save from Sakato. Excellent timing.

Cege grabs Sakato and punches him in his stomach before locking on a reverse headlock. He climbs back into the corner on the top rope with the hold still applied.

Hitomi: This could be the Cege Driller on Sakato!!

Taka suddenly runs over and hits a flying forearm into Cege, breaking the headlock on his brother. Sakato stands next to Taka, and together they knock Cege Hayabusa clear off the top turnbuckle with the Dragon Kick!!

Mori: Double missile dropkicks to Cege off the top rope!! Cege’s out cold on the outside!
Hiro sees this and runs over towards Team Okiki. Taka turns around and nails Hiro with a DDT. Then he grabs his legs and locks in an elevated crab as Sakato goes up top. He flies back with a moonsault onto the back of Hiro’s neck, causing a scream of pain to erupt from Saotome. Taki calls for the bell when he sees Hiro tapping his hand quickly on the mat!!

Hanza: The WINNER...TAKA AND SAKATO....TEAM OKIKIIIIIIII!!!!!!

Hitomi: Looks like Team Okiki picks up the victory on their debut match in PURE!!

Kiyashi: Excellent performance from both men here. Something that they and the fans should all be proud of.

Hitomi: And they of course will be facing the winners of Inphino Blitz and Mang-a-Hero versus Ali and Carl Kimbell at Ikusa Three in two weeks time. And with that in mind, I think it is time to go to the commercials for the first time tonight.

((Commercial: Never fear, never be alone, never be afraid. The very best of PTC’s Commercials are now available in a one DVD box set for only the equivalent of $29.95 in whatever your local currency is! Buy two today!))

Hitomi: Welcome back here to Ikusa 2, PURE Wrestling’s bi-weekly show. We’ve already seen one tag team quarter final resolved with Team Okiki becoming victorious, now it is time for our second with Brian Simon and Steven Windsor taking on Masanobu Akazi and Shirata Rinjiro.

The lights dim, as ‘This Life’ by Primer 55 hit’s the PA system. Steven ‘Golden Bear’ Windsor walks out to a decent reaction. Some fans throw streamers, which are immediately taken by the ring boys. Steven Windsor enters the ring and he awaits his tag team partner.

Hitomi: This should be an exciting contest. Two gaijins are taking on two of the natives of Japan here.

Kobentai Kiyashi: The fans have taken quite a liking to Steven Windsor.

Mori Morishigi: But I would have to say that Brain Simon is the most popular gaijin here in PURE. He’s a former GW International Champion, and the crowd treats him like he still holds that prestigious championship.

Suddenly, ‘God Save The Queen’ plays over the PA system as the crowd shoots into a frenzy of respect. Not too loud, but a real decent reaction. Brain Simon walks to the ring and he begins conversing with Steven Windsor.

Hitomi: The two men are conversing in the ring now, making sure they are on the same page before stepping into the ring with these two excellent competitors.

Drowning Pool’s ‘Tear Away’ plays over the PA system as the well built Shirata Rinjiro slowly makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring with an intent look on his face. He stands in the corner for his tag team partner.

'You Get To Burning' by Yumi Matsuzawa plays as "Jido San" Masanobu Akazi makes his way down the long ramp and into the ring. He shakes hands with the fans as he enters the ring with an intense look on his face. It doesn’t waver. Hanza begins announcing.
Hanza: In this corner, he stands 6‘4. He weighs in at 270 pounds, and he hails from Osaka, Japan, ladies and gentlemen, JIDO SAN, Akaziiiiiiiiiiii, Masanobuuuuuuuuuu!

“Jido San” Gets on the second turnbuckle and he nods at the fans as they toss blue and yellow streamers at him.

Hanza: And his partner! He stands 6’6, and he weighs in at 278 pounds, he hails from Okinawa, Japan…Rinjiroooooooo, Shirataaaaaaaaaa!!!

Shirata Rinjiro raises his right hand as the crowd screams his name and cheers for him.

Mori: Warm reaction so far for both natives of Japan.

Hanza: Now in this corner, weighing in at 265 pounds, and hailing from Blackpool, England, BRIAN SIMON!!!

Brain Simon looks at the crowd with an intense look. The crowd gives him a decent reaction, some respectful clapping.

Hanza: And his partner, he weighs in at 285 pounds, and he hails from Edmonton, Alberta Canada, STEVEN WINDSOR!!!!!!

Steven Windsor does the same thing as his fellow gaijin and he shows no change of facial expression, he doesn’t even raise his hand to acknowledge the crowd. Steven Windsor stands in the ring as Brain Simon heads into the corner. Shirata Rinjiro is the one starting off for his team.

Mori: Here we go, this should be an excellent contest. These four men have something to prove and I don’t think they are going to let anything slide past them in this match here.

Hitomi: I agree with you. Steven Windsor looks all business though.

The bell rings as Steven Windsor walks to Shirata Rinjiro. They stand face to face, neither speaking, almost as if a test of who will blink first or make the first move. Rinjiro throws a right palm strike and he nails Steven Windsor in the jaw, Windsor is stunned and he moves back a few feet. Rinijiro runs at Steven Windsor and he takes him down with a nasty looking Lariat.

Kiyashi: What a Lariat from Shirata Rinjiro. He almost took Steven Windsor’s head off. The gaijin has tagged out now as the former GW International Champion is in the ring with Shirata Rinijiro.

Mori: Shirata is moving to his corner now, and he has tagged his partner ‘Jido San’ Masanobu Akazi into the ring.

Akazi and Brian Simon slap hands as the crowd eats it up with a huge pop.

Hitomi: For our American viewers, here in Japan the wrestlers respect each other a lot. Even if they have an intense dislike for their opponent, they slap hands as a sign of respect.

Akazi and Simon lock up with neither man taking the clear advantage. Akazi backs Simon into the corner and he begins unloading on him with various kicks to the body. Simon tries to cover up but it’s futile almost. Masanobu Akazi pulls Brian Simon out of the corner and he gives him a double underhook back breaker. Akazi goes for the cover.

Hitomi: We’ve got a cover!

1.….2.…kick out by Brian Simon.

Mori: Talk about resiliency, it’s still rather early in the match by Brian Simon is very aware of his position in the ring, plus being a veteran of the sport, he knows to keep his shoulders off the mats at all times if possible.

Masanobu Akazi picks up Brian Simon and he gives him an Irish Whip, Akazi then attempts to nail Brian with a flying forearm, Simon immediately drops to the mat to avoid the flying forearm, he does. Simon walks to his corner and he tags in the ‘Golden Bear’. Windsor runs into the ring and makes sure to take advantage of the floored Masanobu Akazi. Steven Windsor begins putting the boots to Akazi.

Kiyashi: Excellent team work from the two gaijins here. They are using their American style of tag team wrestling to take advantage of Masanobu Akazi and Shirata Rinjiro.

Steven Windsor grabs a hold of Masanobu Akazi and he gives him a snap DDT. Steven Windsor then drags Masanobu Akazi to his corner where he tags in Brian Simon. Simon immediately picks up Jido San, and he gives him an exploder suplex.

Crowd: OHHHH!

Hitomi: EXPLODAHHHHHHHH!

Mori: HE CALLS THAT THE SIMONPLEX. What perfect execution.

Simon goes for the cover.

1.…..2.….. Kick out.

Kiyashi: He barely kicked out there. I can’t believe that Brian Simon could get the 270 pounder over his head. That was shocking.

Brian Simon looks at the referee in disbelief, but he picks up Jido San yet again. Simon hits Jido San with three palm strikes, and then he nails him with a roaring elbow that sends Jido San through the second rope and to the ring floor.

Hitomi: Dangerous looking elbow there from Brian Simon! I think he may have knocked out Masanobu Akazi clean.

Brian Simon leaves the ring as well and he picks up Masanobu Akazi. Brian Simon kicks Akazi in the midsection and he puts him in position for a Northern Light Suplex. Simon gets Akazi off his feet originally, but Akazi shifts his weight so he can land on his feet and Simon can’t get the move on him. Akazi then drops Brian Simon with a DDT on the ringside floor to an “UHHHHWAA” from the crowd.

Mori: Ohhh! My goodness. What a DDT from Masanobu Akazi. Jido San needs to get back in the ring and tag his partner.

Masanobu Akazi gets back in the ring and he crawls towards his corner. Brian Simon is just making it back in the ring as Masanobu Akazi is literally a foot away from Shirata Rinjiro. But before Masanobu Akazi can make the tag, Brian Simon pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Simon, who is still smarting from that dangerous DDT he felt on the outside of the ring, tags in The Golden Bear.

Kiyashi: Absolutely perfect timing by Brian Simon.

Mori: And Steven Windsor doesn’t look happy.

Steven Windsor picks up Masanobu Akazi and he gives him a release northern lights suplex. The crowd cheers as Steven Windsor pops back up immediately and he picks up Akazi again, The Golden Bear then gives Akazi yet another release northern lights suplex. Steven Windsor doesn’t let up and he picks up Masanobu Akazi again and he gives him a NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!

Hitomi: NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB FROM STEVEN WINDSOR TO Masanobu Akazi!

Mori: Once again, for the benefit of our American fans, that move is used in the United States by a wrestler named Al Snow, he calls it his Snow Plow.

Kiyashi: Steven Windsor has the cover!

1.……2.…..thr--… NO!

Hitomi: I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! HE KICKED OUT!

Mori: I don’t think Windsor and Simon can believe it either. Look at this Steven Windsor, he’s like an animal.

Steven Windsor begins stomping on Masanobu Akazi. Much to the chagrin of the crowd and the referee. Steven Windsor picks up Masanobu Akazi, and he goes behind him. Windsor locks his hands around the waist of Akazi, and he lifts him high into the air, and he drops him with a nasty looking German suplex in which Masanobu Akazi landed on his neck. Masanobu Akazi lands in the middle of the ring. Windsor doesn’t get up from the ground, instead he crawls into his corner and he tags his partner Brian Simon.

Kiyashi: I’m not sure if Simon and Windsor are going to continue to team after this event here, but if they do, expect them to be quite a force.

Mori: inDEED~! They have been dominating this match from the start. Shirata Rinjiro is in the corner bouncing up and down. He really wants to get tagged in.

Hitomi: He hasn’t been in the match that much. He’ll be fresh of Masanobu Akazi can just make it to his corner somehow.

Brian Simon picks up Masanobu Akazi. Simon knocks Akazi down with a knife edge chop. Simon picks up Akazi again, and he does the same thing. Masanobu Akazi’s chest is now reddened. Simon picks up Masanobu Akazi again, and he attempts to give Jido San another Knife Edge chop, but this time, Akazi grabs Simon’s hand, and he nails him with a spinning knife edge chop of his own that catches Brian Simon in his nose.

Hitomi: GOODNESS! WHAT A SHOT TO THE FACE OF BRIAN SIMON! ALL Masanobu Akazi HAS TO DO IS MAKE IT TO HIS CORNER AND TAG IN SHIRATA!

Crowd: She-Rata! She-RATA! She-RATA!

Kiyashi: Whoever makes the tag first will be in full control of this match.

Simon is closer to his corner, and he tags in Steven Windsor first. Windsor hops into the ring quickly and he attempts to stop Masanobu Akazi from making the tag. But it’s too late. Shirata Rinjiro is tagged in the ring and he comes out blazing. He takes The Golden Bear down with a clothesline. Windsor pops back up and he runs into a Japanese arm drag. Windsor gets up slower than he had the first two times and he runs right into a Shining Wizard from Shirata Rinjiro!

Mori: WHAT A KNEE TO THE JAW OF STEVEN WINDSOR!

Hitomi: SHINING WIZARD TO THE FACE! OH MY! OH MY!

Steven Windsor collapses to the mat as the referee checks in on him. Shirata Rinjiro screams as the crowd goes nuts. Rinjiro moves the referee out of the way quickly and he picks up Steven Windsor and Rinjiro backs into his corner. Rinjiro runs at full speed in an attempt to his Steven Windsor with the Act Of Fate. But Windsor moves out of the way a split second before Rinjiro would have crashed into him. Instead, Rinjiro crashes into the second turnbuckle. Steven Windsor walks behind Rinjiro slowly in his corner. Windsor tags in Brian Simon.

Kiyashi: A fresh Brian Simon in the match here. Well, I wouldn’t exactly say fresh, more like, alive and breathing Brian Simon.

Hitomi: I agree. These men are almost killing each other here in the match.

Mori: All of them are tired, we will see who’s stamina comes into play here.

Simon enters the ring and he begins to pelt Rinjiro with boots to the head. Simon looks at the crowd and he nods.

Hitomi: Cockiness there from Brian Simon.

Mori: I think he’s just trying to tell the fans that he’s got this match in the bag.

Brian Simon slowly brings Rinjiro to his feet. Rinjiro begins to throw some weak punches to the midsection of Brian Simon, who simply shrugs them off. He calls Steven Windsor in from the corner. Taki tries to get Windsor to leave the ring but to no avail. Windsor and Brian Simon lift Rinjiro high into the air as Jido San gets into the ring. Simon and Windsor drop him with a double Brain buster just as Taki cuts in front of Jido San. Taki sends Jido San back to his corner as Simon hooks the leg of Rinjiro.

Kiyashi: DOUBLE BRAIN BUSTAHHHHHHHHH! COVER, 1.…..2.…3!!!!! SIMON AND WINDSOR WIN!

Mori: These two gaijins definitely deserve this victory. They worked their asses off in this contest.

Hitomi: Mori, you can’t say that!

Mori: inDEED~! I did, there was no other thing I could use to describe this excellent match.

Simon and Windsor celebrate together in the ring by raising their hands. Jido San quickly retreats to the locker room area as Taki the referee checks on Shirata Rinjiro.

(Ikusa II is brought to you by Maxis Inc...Japan’s leading corporation in the stock exchange.)

The slow beat of drums fill the Matsumoto Stadium at the lights flash black and blue to the tempo. Then "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" by Smashing Pumpkins begins, smoke filling the entranceway. The fans begin clapping in unison as they await the Black Dragon Master.

Hitomi: Everyone's anticipating the entrance of Inphino Blitz here in the Matsumoto Stadium!

Mori: If Blitz only believed in the power of money…he'd make such an excellent spokesman for Morishigi Gyms!

Kiyashi: He is all about the art of combat and unity through the fight that exists in Puroresu…not about endorsements, Mori.

Mori: A man can dream, Kiyashi…a man can dream.

From out of the smoke steps Inphino Blitz, along with his manager Mina de Margo. He looks out to the people and cracks his joints before walking on towards the ring. He and Mina slide in and they both go to the turnbuckles, climbing up to greet the fans. Inphino holds his clawed hands up before his face while letting out a silent roar. Mina holds her hands on her hips and rocks her head to the beat of the music.

Hanza: Ladies and gentlemen…I'm proud to introduce to you…MINA DE MARGO AND INPHINOOO BLITZ!!

Inphino hops down and takes the microphone from Hanza Kibagame, shaking hands with him before he climbed out of the ring. Then Mina and Blitz bow deeply to the people, drawing up applause of respect.

Kiyashi: Inphino really respects and appreciates the people. And they show their respect in return.

As he begins to hold the microphone up, a small section of the crowd begins to chant at him.

Audience: SAN-KYU!! SAN-KYU!! SAN-KYU!!

Hitomi: Some fans referring to the Forbidden 999 style that Inphino was said to found, his personal martial art.

Mori: What about the Forbidden 999 fashion trend? Found in Morishigi fashion outlets across the country.

Kiyashi sighs as Inphino waves towards the direction of the chant. Then he raises the microphone to his lips.

Inphino: Welcome to PURE Ikusa…it's truly an honor to stand here before you all on the second show in the history of PURE, as well as standing here in the Matsumoto Stadium here in Nagoya.

The fans clap and cheer for Blitz's show of respect.

Inphino: Now…if you all remember last show, I emerged victorious from a bout with two talented men, "The Dark Lotus" and Hiro Saotome…. only to be assaulted from behind by a man just after my win. Mina tells me that his name is Ali Khadaffi… my opponent tonight in the Tag Team Tournament. As of right now, I would like to address this Ali and give him a message.

He steps over towards the turnbuckle and leans against it.

Inphino: Ali…I do not know if you are aware of this or not, but this is PURE. This is not an American sports entertainment federation where the entrance you made a few weeks ago would make an impact. No…this is Japanese puroreso…where each bit of combat executed here is backed by the fighting spirit…fueled by the fighter's pride and guided by honor. What you did to me on the first Ikusa was nothing more than dishonorable.

Mina nods as the fans applaud in agreement.
Inphino: This night…things are different for you as well as me, Ali. You see…there's no jumping me from behind…it's going to be me and you, face to face, like true combat should be executed. I know nothing about who you are…but the action you exhibited on Ikusa two weeks ago has coward written all over it.

He shakes his head slowly, as if he were telling himself that he is wrong.

Inphino: No…you cannot be a coward. There are no cowards in PURE. This honored federation would not be tainted with cowardice. Ali, what you did was not cowardly…but they were in fact the actions of a man desperate. One who is desperate to learn firsthand what it truly means to possess the pure fighting spirit and honor. That is what PURE is all about…and that is what I am all about.

Mina looks over to Blitz, taking notice as a determined look comes over his calm face.

Inphino: PURE is not just about physical combat, but also the mental combat. Martial artists often test and train their minds by asking themselves a question that cannot be dealt with intellectually or philosophically…a koan. Koans are asked of fighters to stimulate the mind and keep it prepared to look at all aspects of any situation. Ali Khadaffi…I have a koan…for you.

The people begin to clap, building up the mood for the serious question

Inphino: Are you… PURE?

The audience responds in awe at the thought-provoking question, and then slowly a burst of cheers and applause breaks out for Inphino. Mina nods as Inphino steps out of the corner and stands in the middle of the ring, staring down at his tightly clenched fist.

Inphino: I hope you are PURE...because if you are not...you have no hope of even being a challenge. It takes a man pure of mind, body, and spirit to even be considered competition. Tonight, we will see if Ali and Kimbell are pure...by testing their limits inside this range of combat.

He lowers his hand towards the ring, still looking down. Then he raises his hand back up towards the rafters, his eyes following.

Inphino: Tonight, I have arranged for you all to look upon a martial artist who is also pure. Ladies and gentlemen...i present to you...Ranma Saotome.

Strobe lights flash through the arena as “Tokyo 6pm” by Angina P. plays through the Matsumoto Stadium. The entranceway is flooded with lasers and lights as Mang-A-Hero comes strolling out dressed like Ranma Saotome, in a red Chinese style shirt with blue slacks and boots. His mask remains over his face, but draped over his shoulder is a braided ponytail. He strikes a few martial arts poses before running down to the ring.

Hitomi: That’s PURE’ newest signee, Mang-A-Hero!!

He slides into the ring and hops on the turnbuckle, yelling out “GO GO TOKYO!” with his hands stretched out in the air.

Mori: This isn’t Tokyo...this is Nagoya!!

He jumps off the turnbuckle and stands before Inphino with his hands on his hips. Blitz stares at him blankly, not knowing what to make of him.

Inphino: Hmmm...you’re not what I expected.

Mang-A-Hero reaches for the microphone, taking it from Blitz and holding it to his own face.
MAH: Black Dragon Master, Ranma Saotome had a prior engagement to attend to. He mentioned something about cold water and something about a girl...BUT THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT!! He sent ME in his place, someone just as ANI-MAZING and MANGA-FICIENT!! While I may not be master of the martial arts like you or Mr. Saotome, I am the Master of the MANGA ARTS!! And surely...that will be just as good!!

Mina hands Inphino another microphone and stands by his side as the Black Dragon Master looks Mang-A-Hero up and down.

Inphino: Yes...impressive. Tell me...what is your name?

MAH: My NAME?? Why...I’M THE CRAZY DRUNKEN KOOL-AID MASKED MASTER...MANG-A-HERO!!!

He strikes another heroic pose, drawing a slight cheer from the crowd. Blitz and Mina stare on baffled at their newly found friend.

Inphino: Well then, Mang-A-Hero, tell me something...are you...PURE?

MAH steps back like he was asked an obvious question.

MAH: Am I PURE, you say?? Black Dragon Master...I’ve been bathed in the hot springs of JUSENKYO, cleansed by the RAINBOW CRYSTAL, infused with MAKO ENERGY, and brought back to life by the DRAGON BALLS!! I can say that I am MOST DEFINITELY PURE!!

Inphino looks at Mina, who shrugs at his look. Then he turns back to Mang-A-Hero and nods.

Inphino: Well...we shall see tonight...together. Ali...Kimbell...Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero are ready for you. Tonight...the battle...begins...With that said and done, the Black Dragon Master---

MAH: AND THE BACK SMACK DRAGON HERO!!!

Inphino glances at Mang-A-Hero slightly as he strikes another martial arts pose, and then finishing his statement.

Inphino: ...has spoken.

“The Beginning is the End is the Beginning” by Smashing Pumpkins plays over the speakers as Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero shake hands, Mina de Margo and the people applauding them both.

Kiyashi: Two PURE warriors signify their unity as they team up later tonight in competition.

Mori: Mang-A-Hero and Inphino Blitz...what a team!

Hitomi: I couldn’t agree more!

Mori: Imagine the sales on action figures alone!

Hitomi: (sighing) We’ll be right back after this commercial.

(PURE Ikusa II is brought to you by Maxis Inc...putting a chokehold on the competition, one brand name at a time.)

Mori looks uncomfortable at the last commercial, shuffling through his papers. Kiyashi looks on concerned.

Kiyashi: Something troubling you, Mori?

Mori: Um...no...nothing at all...

Mina de Margo is shown backstage walking along the hallway with a bottle of water in her hands. Yuri Takazawa is shown standing against the wall writing in a small memo pad. She looks up as Mina approaches her.

Yuri: Hey, Mina.

Mina: How’ve you been, Quest?

Yuri: It’s just I’m so thrilled to work here in this federation…. even if it’s part time!

Mina: Yeah, you’ve always been the newshound here in Japan’s wrestling world.

Yuri: By the way…

She pulls out a small tape recorder and presses the red button on it.

Yuri: Mind if I can ask you a few questions?

Mina: Sure. What are friends for anyway?

Yuri: What do you think Inphino Blitz’ motives are for being in PURE?

Mina: Me, personally, I think that he’s here to keep the federation the same as it’s name…PURE. As always, Inphino has never been really concerned with winning belts or anything. All he’s ever asked for was a decent fight from his opponents, and if it earns him a championship along the way, well then congrats for him. Just like this Tag Team Tournament. As he would say…this is only another path towards keeping purity and honor within the federation…and it will lead him towards championship titles no doubt.
Yuri: Okay…what do you think about the debut of PURE two weeks ago?

Mina: PURE Ikusa came off to a great start in my opinion…excellent matches. That ambush by Ali Khadaffi and the actions of Kensuke Suzahara were the only mishaps as far as I remember right now, but hopefully we can change all that on this show. Inphino picked up the great debut win, and we’re going to keep the streak going from there.

Yuri: One last thing. Inphino Blitz has told the people about you yourself being skilled in the ring. You think we could have a future women’s puro division building in PURE?

Mina chuckles as she takes a sip of her water.

Mina: Oh…like, I can’t really say at the moment…it may happen, and it may not happen.

Yuri: Okay, thanks a lot, Mina.

Mina: Sure, anytime.

The two of them walk off in opposite directions down the hallway as the camera cuts back to the announcer’s table.

Hitomi: What a show we have had so far and yet another tag match now with Ali Khadaffi and Carl Kimbell teaming up!

Kiyashi: Ali and Kimbell aren't regular tag members though which means that that could be a dis-advantage in this match!

Hitomi: Exactly my point with the fact that Inphino Blitz and Mag-A-Hero being partners and close friends!

Morishigi: I can't believe I have to spend my money on watching these people wrestle!

Hitomi: Stop whining!

Ring Announcer: The following match is a tag team match for the PURE tag team tournament and it is for one fall. It is between Ali Khadaffi and Cal Kimbell verses Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero and the referee is Taki Kuonji. Making his way to the ring from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 210 pounds, Ali Khadaffi!

‘Pain' by Tupac Shakur plays as out walks Ali Khadaffi. As the music plays, he walks down the ring, almost showing off. He slides into the ring and jumps around, getting ready for the match.

Hitomi: Well we have Chinta Sokaki refereeing this bout and he is one of the best in PURE.

Morishigi: He better be! I paid good money for him!

Kiyashi: You act like you pay for everything when you like only pay for the advertisements.

Morishigi: *CRUNCH CRUNCH* What was that?

Kiyashi: You annoy me with your food!

Hitomi: As well as me!

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from New York, USA, weighing in at 320 pounds. He is Ali Khadaffi's partner, Carl Kimbell!

‘Courage' by Alien Ant Farm plays as out steps Carl Kimbell. He walks down the ramp like a big tough man, not really doing anything. He slides into the ring and goes to Ali and gives him a hand shake, as they nod to each other as a sign of respect.

Hitomi: One team is out so far.

Kiyashi: And one to go!

Morishigi: Exactly! One more sand which to go!

Hitomi: Put your food down!

Morishigi: Ummmm......NO!

Ring Announcer: Now, making there way to the ring at a combined total of 460 pounds, the team of Inphino Blitz and Mag-A-Hero!

"Dragon Slayer" plays as the arena begins flashing in black and dark blue lights. Smoke fills the entrance way as Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero step through the fog. Inphino cracks his joints as MAH strikes several martial arts poses. Then the duo runs towards the ring, where they slide in and mount the turnbuckles, MAH raising his hands and yelling ""GO GO TOKYO!!"" while Blitz raises his hands at his face and roars to hype up the fans. They hop off the ropes and goto their corner, the opposite of the other team and wait for the bell

Hitomi: There are our teams. Kiyashi, can ya give us your analysis?

Kiyashi: Sure and here it is. Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero are very good singles competitors which gives them a bit of a lead but Ali and Carl have a good weight advantage over the two almost cruiserweights! Look for Ali and Carl to use that weight. Another factor to consider is that Inphino and MAH have a contract stating that they are an official tag team so be sure that they have some special tag moves up there sleeves. Ali and Carl will get mad if they are being beaten on so look for them to interfere at some point during the match. Other than that, it should be a good match but my pick, Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero come out with a clean win to please the crowd.

Morishigi: What was the point of that?

Hitomi: He was giving his predictions and points to consider in this match.

Kiyashi: Yes sure. Let us now go to our match.

Ali Khadaffi and Inphino Blitz start off and hold on to there turnbuckles. *DING DING* The bell rings as Inphino and Ali lock up as Inphino quickly side steps Ali Khadaffi into a side suplex to the mat. Inphino, who is pumped, catches Ali with a monkey flip as he stands up, sending him back down to the mat.

Hitomi: Well, that forbidden wrestling style that Inphino Blitz uses has been an advantage so far in this match.

Kiyashi: And look for Inphino to use that more in this match to try to over power the size of Ali.

Inphino throws Ali at the ropes and nails him with a powerslam back down to the mat. Inphino, must sence some weakness on Ali as when Ali stands up, Inphino leaps on Ali's shoulder's like a normal Hurricanrana, getting ready to do Rewind.

Hitomi: This could spell disaster for Ali and Carl!

Kiyashi: Even I don't know what to expect!

Morishigi: Expect Inphino to call do this move perfect!

Kiyashi: We'll see then.

As Inphino is about to bring Ali down, Ali lifts up Inphino and slams him down to the mat as hard as he can in a powerbomb!

Hitomi: Oh, he's going to do this move perfect now?

Morishigi: How can you get all of your analysis right and I get one small thing wrong?!

Kiyashi: It's because I don't get dumbass! I analyse the match before hand!

Ali lifts up Inphino, picking him up into another powerbomb and drops Inphino on his back, in pain. Ali lifts up Inphino once more and throws him at the ropes, giving a small signal to the crowd. Inphino comes back, straight into a start of a Spinning Side Walk Slam, Ali's set-up called Of God and Men. Ali spins 1.....2.....3.....4. As Ali gets ready to spins one more time, using great strength and ability from Inphino, he lifts his feets up into a Hurricanrana – Rewind! This force sends both Inphino and Ali down!

Hitomi: That was cool!

Kiyashi: No kidding! All Inphino and Ali have to do now is tag there partners!

Morshigi: They won't!

Kiyashi: Your rookie analysing will disappoint you again! I suspect they both tag!

Morishigi: Your on!

Inphino and Ali both start moving to there partners. Both 5 feet away, 4......3....2...1 foot away. With a last bit of strength, they both touch at the same time!

Morishigi: NO!

Kiyashi: I told you!

Carl Kimbell and Mang-A-Hero both come charging in but Carl, using the 100 pound weight advantage, takes advantage by knocking down Mang-A-Hero with four consecutive clotheslines to the ground! Inphino, wanting to help out his partner, runs into the match but is nailed with punches, leading him back to the ropes where he is given a clothesline down to the outside. Ali, jumping on the opportunity, hops off the ring apron and runs around the side to Inphino, starts punching him, while Carl taunts Inphino with numerous taunts as the fans boos in the arena get louder by the second!

Hitomi: That's not fair!

Morishigi: And why not?

Kiyashi: Uh, they are beating up Inphino Blitz on the outside for no reason!

Hitomi: Guys, you might want to keep an eye on the ring!

Mang-A-Hero is wobbling, but standing up now, waiting for Carl to turn around but Carl keeps taunting Blitz as the ref is outside, trying to break the fight up! After about 20 seconds of waiting, MAH finally taps Carl on the back. As Carl turns around, MAH spits red kool-aid mix in Carl's face, Cherry blast flavour. Following that, MAH nails some right hands, a kick to the stomach, and a revers Twist of Fate to Carl, landing him straight on the ground!

Hitomi: Oh my GOD! MAH just hit the Arimatage Assault & Drunken Kool-Aid Mist on Carl!

Kiyashi: Good night, kitty cat!

MAH pins

1.....

2.....

From the outside, Carl Kimbell tries to slide into the ring and stop the count but Inphino Blitz drags his feet back to the outside.

3.....!

Hitomi: Inphino Blitz and Mang-A-Hero move onto the second round of this tag tournament!

Morishigi: I can't believe it. Your analysis was accurate!

Kiyashi: Yup, I know!

On the outside of the ring, where Inphino dragged Ali Khadaffi outside, Ali now has control as he nails Blitz with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam onto the concrete, knocking him out. He steps into the ring to MAH who is on the ropes, taunting the crowd in cheers. Ali comes from behind him and lifts him up with one hand, slamming him down to the mat as the crowds cheers now turn to boos from all around as Ali Khadaffi and Carl Kimbell, who is now up seem to be enjoying and liking the boos.

Hitomi: This isn't puroresu! This is.......PCW!

Kiyashi: Someone has to stop this!

Morishigi: Finally some action!

Ali goes up to the ropes and looks at MAH before a Triple Jump Twisting Moonsault onto MAH who is now bleeding! Inphino, on the outside seems to be hurt and cannot help his partner! *DING DING* The bell rings but Ali and Carl don't seem to hear it.

Hitomi: Enough is enough!

Kiyashi: They one fair and square!

Carl, who wants some action, delivers a Spinning Death Valley Driver, or "Carl Catcher" to MAH, leaving him more hurt. Instead of continuing the assault however, Carl and Ali finally stop and head up the ramp!

Hitomi: Finally they are done!

Kiyashi: That isn't what Puroresu is!

Morishigi: It is now. Lets goto one of my glorious advertisements on PURE from the sponsors who I pay!

Suddenly from out the back charges another black wrestler, heading straight for Ali, he barrels him back down the ramp as the Japanese security finally arrive pulling all parties apart.

Hitomi: That’s Jordan X Shabazz from the PCW! What is he doing here?

Kiyashi: Showing more gusto than those two cheats, of that I am certain. Let’s get to that commercial and hopefully this will all become clear after tonight’s events are over.

(Commercial: Ikusa 2 is brought to you by PCW. Where there is no good cheating and lying and sneak attacks!)

Kobentai Kiyashi: Up next, we have the awe-inspiring match of the team of Alexander Miyagawa and Ebola III facing off against the team of Dark Lotus and Billy Larkin.

Mori Morishigi: Hmm, sounds like a superb matchup. Pass the soy sauce Hitomi-san...

Hitomi: *grimacing* Sure Mori-san. *passes Soy Sauce* Yes, I believe this will be a superb battle despite the fact that the lower half of this bout has showed very little interest in their career in PURE. It shall begin now…

Hanza Kibagame: Introducing first, the team of Alexander Miyagawa and Ebola III.

Miyagawa and Ebola come out to the theme of 'One Step Closer' by Linkin Park. Ebola and Miyagawa both gesture to the crowd and then walk down to the ring. They enter the ring and step into the far corner to cheers from the fans.

Hanza Kibagame: And now introducing, the team of Dark Lotus and Billy Larkin.

Both enter to no theme. They simply just walk out to the ring. The fans do not applaud or cheer, more out of lack of recognition than disdain. The team is not phased by this, other than a visible lack of enthusiasm, but that was shown by them many times before anyway. Larkin and Dark Lotus enter the ring and Larkin takes point as the first competitor.

The referee signals to the timekeeper, and then bows. The match begins with a *ding ding ding*. Miyagawa is the first competitor on his side, he moves into the ring with finesse and squares off with Billy Larkin. Miyagawa bows to Larkin, who does not return the respect and instead goes for a front kick to Miyagawa while he is bowing. Miyagawa catches Larkin’s foot adroitly however, and leg spins Larkin to the ground. Whereupon he applies a Bow and Arrow Lock.

Kobentai: These young fools show no respect to this company, and are now being taught a lesson by our leader. Miyagawa is TRULY “taking them to school” as Americans would say it.

Hitomi: I agree that Miyagawa is showing his ring finesse in this opening portion of the match, but one should never underestimate opponents they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about.

Morishigi: This is interrupting my third dinner time, I truly despise foolhardy young men like Larkin and Dark Lotus.

The Divine Madness is still being applied to Larkin and he seems not be holding on too well. It must be lack of practice and training. However, Miyagawa releases the hold as he fears he has not finished his opponent enough yet. Miyagawa picks Larkin up and slaps him in the face, in order to see if Larkin is truly trying to participate as well as to pay him back for the lack of respect. Then Miyagawa grapples Larkin into a suplex position, lifts him up high and drops Larkin down with a brainbuster-rollover DDT combination. The crowd cheers severely at this showing of strength and Larkin seems to be very hurt by this move.

Kobentai: Now that was a fine example of Puroresu impact by the owner of PURE. This is what I like to see. He is showing this young American fool what this business is about.

Hitomi:He is certainly laying waste to Larkin.

Morishigi: MMM, I’ll be back, let me fetch a cola. *sound of headset hitting table*

Miyagawa, however, decides he had better tag in his partner to get some fresh energy into the game and walks over to his corner with Larkin laying. Miyagawa tags Ebola III into the match and Ebola III comes in with a flurry. He runs towards the now standing, but dazed, Billy Larkin and executes with authority a beautiful 360 spinning Leg Lariat, known as the Latino Leap. Billy Larkin is knocked down and stays down.

Kobentai: This young man is brash and rough, not necessarily good qualities, but he is showing these reckless fools what it means to be dutiful to one’s place of employment, and that is commendable.

Hitomi: He is certainly impressive, I have not seen such a leg lariat in years. His ferocity might haunt him someday though.

Morishigi has not returned from the vending machines.

Ebola III sees the damage done, and decides to finish the match and ascends the turnbuckle. A smile is seen on his masked face. He jumps into the air and does a forwards backflip, and then a 180 twist to land in a shoulders-facing-the-mat position to complete his shooting-star-senton known as the Terminal Velocity. The impact is huge and the fans begin to cheer madly. Ebola turns and hooks Larkin’s neck and leg in a cradle. The Referee begins the count.

Hitomi: Ebola has this match in hand with assistance from an amazingly execute Shooting-Star-Senton. Can he win it?

1….

*Sound of hissing and a tab being popped and then something large landing on a chair*

Mori: The lines were ridiculous, what did I miss?

2…

Kobentai: Everything you fool. That does not matter. The young man from Arizona has this match in the palm of his hand. Show them no respect, it is not kinjiru. WIN!

3….

The bell rings and… the ref holds Ebola III’s hand up in the air triumphant.

Winners: Ebola III and Alexander Miyagawa

Hitomi: A marvellous win here tonight for the owner and his tag team partner against a rather unimpressive opponents, but a win nonetheless.

Kobentai: I am certain they would have wished for more seasoned opponents... wait I am getting a message through the intercom system... Dark Lotus and Billy Larkin have both been fired! They’re out of here!

Hitomi: And with that in mind, let’s cut to the break and when we return we see the match to crown the first ever champion in PURE Wrestling History.

((Commercial: Mori Morishigi’s prediction hotline, dial 0-800-MORI for insider information and betting tips.

Kobentai: Mori, you have no shame.

Mori: I sold that years ago.

Hitomi: Here comes the main event, for the PURE Jr Heavyweight title!!

Kiyashi: Three excellent competitors are set to face off against each other for the first title match in PURE history.

Mori: Who will be PURE’s first ever crowned champion? The Sultan of Sides, HIT...The End...or The Falling Star, Kensuke Suzahara?

Hitomi: Let’s hand it over to Hanza Kibagame waiting in the ring!

Hanza: Tonight’s main event is a triple threat match for the PURE Jr Heavyweight title!!

“Stuck In America” by Sugarcult hits the speakers, as Kensuke Suzahara comes walking down the entrance way towards the ring. The fans chant faint boos in his direction, but he ignores them as he slides into the ring and glares at the people.

Mori: Suzahara is on a real evil binge since joining PURE. His hatred of PURE owner Miyagawa is really shining through.

“Parabola” by Tool plays next, heralding The HIT’s entrance. He runs down towards the ring, rolling in and hopping around, warming up.

Hitomi: HIT looks ready tonight!

Then, Cypress Hill’s “Child of the West” plays through the arena. Out walks The End, making little acknowledgement to the fans. He jumps onto the apron and lands in the middle of the ring from a high angle springboard back flip. Then he leans back into his corner and stretches his limbs. All three men stare tensely at each other, making sure not to let their eyes off each other.

Hitomi: The tension is thick in the atmosphere at this point!! Each of these three men can taste it!!

Mori: Speaking of tasting...don’t forget about Mori’s House of Sushi...try the sukiyaki special for the low, low price of---

Kiyashi: Ahem...now is not the time...

Hanza: First, hailing from Osaka, Japan...weighing in at 222 pounds...The Falling Star...KENSUKE SUZAHARA!!!!

The fans boo as Kensuke flips them off.

Kiyashi: Utter lack of respect...

Hanza: Next, from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA...weighing in also at 222 pounds...The HARDCORE ISOSOCLES TRAPEZOID...HIT!!!

HIT points to the geometric shape on his chest and lifts his hands to the people as they applaud.

Hanza: Last, from parts unknown...weighing in at 224 pounds...THE END!!!

With a nod of his head, End stands from his corner and awaits as referee Taki Kuonji goes from each wrestler and checks their gear. He finally checks End’s boots, pads, and gloves, he holds his arms out to keep all three wrestlers from each other.

Hitomi: They’re totally raring to tear into each other!!

Mori: They all want that belt, Hitomi!

Taki calls for the bell and backs out of the center of the ring. The fans all begin clapping as the three men inside the ring begin pacing around the ring slowly, their eyes locked on each other’s frame. Soon, End finds himself caught between the creeping advances of HIT and Suzahara. Kensuke runs at End, and receives a jarring blow to the face. As he hits the mat, HIT comes from behind on End with a forearm to the back of the head. He goes down, and Kensuke gets back up to join HIT with the double team.

Kiyashi: Kensuke and HIT make the impromptu alliance to take out The End. The bad thing will be come time when they have to turn on each other.

Kensuke and HIT stomp into End unmercifully. End gets up to his knees, where HIT pulls him up and pushes him into the corner. The two of them begin kicking at his midsection. Kensuke backs HIT away and delivers a stinging knife edge chop to End’s chest. HIT steps in and follows with a second knife edge chop, drawing another slap to crack out into the arena. Kensuke comes back in with another chop, followed by another from HIT. Now obviously taking turns at The End, Kensuke Suzahara and HIT begin dealing rights into the face of End.

Mori: These two men working pretty well against End.

They grabs both of End’s arms and whip him into the opposite corner. End suddenly hops up onto the turnbuckle and moonsaults over an oncoming Kensuke Suzahara. Then he back flips again and knocks HIT back into the mat with a moonsault dropkick!! Kensuke grabs him by his head as he stands back up, but End knocks his hands away, grabbing him by his hair and pulling him straight into a jumping ear clap kick!! The End kips up after performing the Blind Luck and turns to HIT, planting him into the mat with a back flip DDT!!

Hitomi: End is bouncing around the mat like a madman!! Kensuke and HIT cant touch him!!

End makes the cover after the Shared Vertigo, but pulls out of the way as Kensuke comes over to break the count. He inadvertently drops the elbow on HIT, standing back up only to get locked in an inverted facelock!!

Hitomi: Here comes One Last Time!!

HIT suddenly runs over with a forearm, breaking the facelock on Kensuke. End stumbles into the ropes, turning back into an inverted facelock from HIT, who hits the Negative Integer on The End!

Mori: That inverted facelock came back to haunt End!

End slides across the ring, holding his face as he lies on the mat. HIT then goes back to work on stomping away at a prone End. Kensuke gets in a few boots before letting HIT back him into a corner with the 118 Degree Superkick! Kensuke then attacks with vicious right hands to The End. Then he starts with a blatant choke on End, gaining reprimanding from Taki Kuonji. HIT pulls Kensuke from the corner, pointing to himself and starting with a few right hands into End. Then he lets his fists unload on The End with the Order of Operations, sending End down to the mat once again.

Kiyashi: Their methods may be dishonorable, but they’re getting the job done.

End dangles halfway out of the ring. HIT then slides out of the ring, pulling him out with him. Then he guides him over to the announce table, where he bangs his face into the table hard!

Hitomi: Take this back in the ring!!

Kensuke points to himself, and then at End. He then pulls End’s head back and slams it into the announce table as well. The three announcers stand back from their table as HIT slams his head into the table again, both he and Kensuke ignoring the scolding from Taki Kuonji. Kensuke gets in another slam on End, sending him rocking in front of the table. HIT motions for the two of them to slam his head together, and he and Kensuke grab hold of End’s head. They throw him forward, but End blocks the slam with his arms. He starts with elbows to the ribs of his attackers before reaching back and slamming both of their heads into the table like he was beating drums.

Mori: What a way to counter!

End then hops up onto the apron and springs off the top rope. He rotates around and nails HIT with a spinning dropkick!! As he gets back up, Kensuke nails him with an elbow, stopping his momentum again. Kensuke begins chopping away at End, backing him up before whipping him towards HIT. HIT runs into End with a spear to the groin, sending The End down to the ground in pain.

Hitomi: Minus Sign from HIT!! That’s a harsh maneuver for both the attacker and the attacked!!

HIT picks up End and whips him towards Kensuke. Kensuke swings out with a clothesline, but End counters with his own, sending him down to the ground! HIT comes running over to get End, but also hits the ground from a spinning heel kick from The End.

Kiyashi: The End is facing harsh odds here at the hands of HIT and Kensuke Suzahara.

End takes a few seconds to catch his breath, and then rolls Kensuke Suzahara into the ring. Kensuke stands back to his feet just in time for a palm thrust to his nose. End follows up with a heart punch palm thrust to his chest, a thrusting sidekick to his knee, a roundhouse kick to his stomach, and finishing the Great Crusher Combination with a corkscrew backflip enziguri to the back of Kensuke’s head. Suzahara staggers back to his feet at the other side of the ring, where End whips him across the ring. End runs at him, but Kensuke ducks. As End bounces back, Kensuke springs off the second rope with a 180 springboard spear, sending End down to the mat!

Mori: The Strike from Suzahara!! That’ll be the momentum shift of the entire match!!

Kiyashi: What force that maneuver had!

Taki: ONE...TWO...

End kicks out before the three count. Kensuke backs off, letting End stand back up to his feet. Then he comes from behind and locks in a half nelson, hitting the standing mat slam variation called the Disenfranchiser. Kensuke glares down with a smirk on his face as he places his foot over his chest, drawing boos from the fans.

Kiyashi: That is a total act of disrespect to End. That pin is saying that End isn’t even worth the effort of beating!

Taki: ONE...TW--

End kicks out before the two count. The fans applaud End as he sits up slowly. Kensuke boots End in his back before pulling him up to his feet. Then he knocks him back into a corner with repeated knife edge chops. With End reeling in the corner, Kensuke goes to work with the kicks to his ribs. Suzahara then whips him towards the opposite corner, but End reverses it and powerslams him into the mat. Then he sits him up and spin kicks him in his face, following by a standing Shooting Star Press!!
Hitomi: 40 Days! Nice counter from End!

The End runs over to the ropes and slingshots off the top rope. Suddenly HIT reaches up and pulls his feet off the ropes, and End goes tumbling into the mat!

Mori: End’s down after the surprise attack from HIT!

HIT jumps up on the top turnbuckle and nails an elbow drop! Kensuke picks up End, and he and HIT begin punching him into the ropes. The two of them whip him across the ring, but End hooks the ropes and keeps himself from bouncing back. Kensuke runs at him, but End tosses him out with a Japanese arm drag. Then he turns back to see HIT punch at him. He ducks underneath and hops onto HIT’s shoulders from behind, flipping him over with a leapfrog headscissors takedown! HIT amazingly lands on his feet, and when End stands back up he’s planted with the Algebraic Trapplex!!

Kiyashi: Wonderful 360 bridging T-Bone Suplex from HIT. Those patented Trapplexes are lethal from HIT, as well as the many other maneuvers in his arsenal.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THR---

End kicks out suddenly, to the surprise of himself and HIT! HIT stands back up, pulling End up with him. He reels him back into the ropes with punches and kicks. After several swinging knife edge chops, HIT whips End across the ring...but End reverses and whips him into the ropes instead. HIT runs back to get implanted into the canvas by a spinebuster from End! End crawls over and hooks the leg.

Taki: ONE...TWO...THRE---

Hitomi: Kensuke with the break!!

Suzahara dives in with an elbow to the back of End’s head. Stomping into him viciously, HIT stands back up and joins him in kicking at End. Then they both pick him up and whip him into the turnbuckle. End suddenly hops up on the turnbuckle and sails back with the Cyclotron! He stretches his arms out as he spins in the 360 moonsault, spinning like a top before crashing down into Kensuke Suzahara and HIT!!

Mori: Did you see that???

Hitomi: The End was spinning like a helicopter!!!

Mori: New product...The End heli-tops!!! Sold only in Mori Toy Stores!!!

Kiyashi sighs as all three men lay still in the ring.

Taki: ONE...TWO....THREE...

HIT and Kensuke begin rolling, stirring around trying to stand up.

Taki: FOUR...FIVE...SIX...

The End begins standing as well, while HIT and Suzahara are on their knees.

Taki: SEVEN...EIGHT...NINE...

End is squatting as Kensuke and HIT run at him to attack. End punches HIT back before punching Kensuke away next. Then he turns to HIT and drops him with a falling powerslam. Then he leaves him, turning back to Kensuke and scooping him up for a Fallaway Slam. HIT stands back up only to have End knock him back down with a standing moonsault!!

Kiyashi: 40 days on both Kensuke and HIT!

End then punches Kensuke into the corner, exploding on him with rights, lefts, and kicks to his chest. From behind HIT comes running up at The End. The blind man senses his approach, and moves out of the way as HIT flies in with the Numberline, drilling Kensuke in his face with a rtating 360 forearm strike!!

Hitomi: HIT nailed Kensuke!!

Mori: So much for that alliance...

HIT turns back to receive a kick to his midsection. End lifts him up for a powerbomb, but hefts him off his shoulders and boots him in the jaw with a vertical superkick!! He lands headfirst into the mat as End turns towards Kensuke again. He turns him around and sits him on the top turnbuckle. Then he grabs him in a crossface chickenwing and suplexes him off the top rope! Kensuke’s head goes straight into the groin of HIT, and the master mathematician goes howling across the ring holding his groin!!

Hitomi: No Limits on Kensuke straight into HIT’s number sack!!

Mori: Number sack?? More like his LOG-arithmic Function!! Let’s see if HIT has the “decimals” to come back after that!!

Hitomi: He’s nothing but a square root!!

Kiyashi: Enough! No more bad puns!

HIT rolls onto the apron as The End picks up Kensuke and begins jabbing him in his face. Kensuke then makes the counter with a kick to the gut. Then he whips End, but End reverses and whips Kensuke straight into the ropes, knocking HIT off the apron onto the ground outside!! End then runs up with a full nelson bulldog onto Kensuke!!

Hitomi: End is picking up some heat! He can smell the win in his grasp!

HIT rolls back into the ring. He stands up and turns around, just in time to be caught in a inverted facelock! End then smacks him into the mat with a spinning 3/4 neckbreaker!! Then he rolls him back and locks in NEVER AGAIN!!

Kiyashi: This is it for End!!!

Taki is checking on HIT, asking him if he wants to quit or not. HIT’s arm is raised, poised to tap...but then Kensuke slides into the ring and runs for The End!! End lets go of the submission hold and grabs him in an inverted facelock, sending him down with a standing Diamond Dust!! Then he rolls Suzahara back and locks in NEVER AGAIN!!!

Hitomi: Kensuke’s on the receiving end of Never Again!!!

Taki: GIVE UP?? GIVE UP??

Just then, HIT comes racing over, pulling End off of Kensuke and locking him into the WORD PROBLEM!!

Mori: HIT with the Word Problem!! This could end the match here and now!!

Taki checks on the submission from End as HIT wrenches in the hold. Suddenly Kensuke dives over with a dropkick into the face of HIT!!

Hitomi: Kensuke just drilled HIT!! The alliance is through!!!

Kiyashi: I said it earlier...their alliance would not last in a triple threat match.

HIT stands back up and shoves Kensuke. Kensuke curses at him in Japanese before shoving him back. HIT counters with another shove! Kensuke holds his arms up call peace between them, pointing to The End and nodding. HIT nods too, and as he turns to approach End, Kensuke trips him with a drop toe hold and tries locking in the double arm STF!! HIT counters with elbows back at Kensuke, breaking out of The Dreamstealer! HIT then rolls over and locks in the WORD PROBLEM on Kensuke!!

Mori: How the tides have turned!! HIT’s gonna beat Kensuke!!

End jumps across the ring with a lariat, knocking HIT clear out of the ring. Then he picks up Kensuke and whips him into the ropes. Kensuke bounces off and flies with a forearm, but The End steps aside, causing Kensuke to nail Taki Kuonji instead!!

Hitomi: Taki!! Kensuke got Taki instead of End!!

Mori: Ref’s down!! Ref’s down!!

With Taki down, End turns back and nails Kensuke with another One Last Time! Then he locks in NEVER AGAIN, but Taki doesn’t see Kensuke tapping!!

Kiyashi: This match should be over!!

End lets the hold go and looks to check on the referee. As he turns his back, HIT rolls back into the ring and sizes up The End. He then grabs End and blasts him with the PARALLEL BASES II!!!

Hitomi: PARALLEL BASES II!!! What a move!!! This is the end!!!

As HIT stands back to his feet, Kensuke sneaks up on him and low blows him! The fans boo harshly as he picks up HIT and nails him with THE STRANGER!! Suddenly, a masked character dashes out from nowhere and yanks Kensuke from the ring!!

Hitomi: WHAT’S THIS??

Mori: SOME MASKED GUY JUST PULLED SUZAHARA OUT OF THE RING!!

Meanwhile, HIT rolls groggily onto his chest, trying to get up. End rolls towards him with his last bit of energy and locks in NEVER AGAIN!!! Taki Kuonji looks up faintly and sees HIT’s tapping, and he signals for the bell!!

Hanza: Winner...and PURE Jr Heavyweight Champion...THE END!!!!

The End celebrates in the ring while the masked man lays into Suzahara on the outside of the ring, finally whipping him into the corner post on the outside and laying into Kensuke with massive boots. Suddenly and unexpectedly Alexander Miyagawa appears at the top of the ramp holding the Junior Heavyweight Title aloft along with a microphone... he talks as he walks down the ramp.

Miyagawa: Three months of planning. Six weeks of building. Four weeks of competition. Puroresu Ultimate Ring Entertainment is proud to present to you, the people of Japan and the World... The first ever PURE Junior Heavyweight Champion... **points into the ring** THE END!!!!!

The masked man and Miyagawa both roll into the ring at the same time. Miyagawa hands the belt over to the End graciously as the HIT gets to his feet. The End holds the belt aloft to the crowd who applaud him graciously.

Miyagawa: Oh and one thing you should remember... Kensuke Suzahara...

Miyagawa looks down at Kensuke manageing to get to his feet at last on the outside of the ring then turns to the masked man and pulls off the black mask revealing...

Hitomi: It’s Cianan from CCW! Kensuke’s rival!

Miyagawa: Whoever you are... wherever you are... don’t mess with the boss.

The End’s music plays as he celebrates in the ring as the camera on Ikusa Two fades out...
